'The home was perfect for our quick family getaway. It was just as pictured, very clean, and had everything we needed. I think our favorite part of the whole trip was hanging out in the backyard on our last night - the big maple tree provided so much shade in the hot afternoon and the string lights were a nice touch while we made s'mores in the firepit at night. There's a great paved and divided pedestrian trail across the street that was perfect for taking the dog out for a walk in the morning...

'It was a great stay, lovely property with gorgeous views of the surrounding fields, amazing sunset views from the front porch, and not a neighbor in sight. The hot tub and fire ring were welcome features to end our days with. Proximity to main roads, Luray Caverns, and Shenandoah was a huge plus. Rating 5 stars because everything was exactly as advertised and the property was very clean with updated fixtures. We could have done with a more comfy couch and maybe a smart tv, but understand rural...

'Very peaceful place only 2.5 miles from Luray. Everything you need to cook a meal, a very comfortable bed, and a great view. I will most likely stay here again when I travel this way in the future. '

'Wonderful hidden gem! It was a perfect jumping off spot for a wedding weekend. Very close to Early Mountain Vineyards and other local attractions. Host was helpful in recommending a yummy spot to grab lunch. The Mad Pepper had a great burger, and Yoder’s Market isn’t to be missed! The cottage had all you could possibly need for a quick get away. '

'Enjoyed a relaxing getaway with friends. This place was just what we were looking for. Amazing decor, enjoyed hot tub and fire pit. Was tucked away to feel just far enough away from it all. We spent some time by river just about 20 min away. We were pleasantly surprised to find the extra roll away beds So there was plenty of space for 8 of us ladies. '

'This place was beautiful and amazing! Once of the best places we've ever stayed. The owner is so dedicated to making you feel at home, and maintains it as is he was staying there. The location is perfect for exploring Shenandoah valley. It is basically right in the middle of everything. We will definitely be coming back!'

'Jerry was an excellent host! The property was in a beautiful location and breakfasts out on the porch enjoying the birds and scenery was great. Very close to old rag and white oak trailheads for those interested inhiking two of the best hikes in shenandoah. The only negative was spotty internet access on occasion. I guess that its the price you pay for seclusion and it is notlimited to jerrys property'

'Rarely is a property better than the listing, but this was a great spot, beautiful views, and extremely clean. We plan to be back! Really sweet local barn cats visited us as well. '
