Called down to the front desk, was greeted with sincere apologies, a new room was immediately assigned, and they came up to my old room with the new room key... and carried my luggage to the UPGRADED new room... 'The Conrad is overrated. When it opened a couple of decades ago, it was the talk of the town, perhaps the most luxurious hotel in Indianapolis. It had really rested on its laurels and lost its glamour. The rooms definitely need refreshing and updating. The sauna, steam room, and swimming pool are still top.'

'This is my "go-to" place to stay when I'm home visiting my family in Indianapolis. The hotel is always clean, safe, well-appointed, staffed with kind, helpful people. I know that I can expect and receive the best when I'm there.'

'As a frequent traveler, I plan to go back to the hotel. I had an excellent waiter Geoffrey that was very friendly and efficient. The food , room accommodations were excellent.The only thing is you must call ahead of time to reserve a table for the breakfast/ brunch. My suggestion to the front desk is to ask during check in is whether you want to dine there and if so ,to make a reservation. Also, to let people know if there is an event nearby due to changes for pickup for rides, such as an Uber....

'The location was very nicely situated only a block from the Soldiers and Sailors monument in downtown Indianapolis and it was convenient to everything. If you’re OK with an older building and don’t wish to use a hot tub, this would be a great place.'

'I had a good stay at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott in Indianapolis. The breakfast was decent and convenient, and the location was great with plenty of restaurants and places within walking distance. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and a good option if you want easy access to nearby spots.'

'Nancy, the front desk associate, was super helpful when my daughter forgot some personal items and she gave us some complimentary items so our stay could be comfortable. Our room was clean and ready on time. We were put next to our travel friends, which was perfect. The hotel is walking distance to Gainbridge for the Fever game and has a decent free breakfast in the morning. Clean, nice staff, affordable, and well located!'
