'The room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom had several items already in the room ( toothpaste/ toothbrush) so if you forgot yours you had it right in your room the bar was stocked with top shelf liquor and a variety of snacks. Loved the espresso machine too. Bed was comfortable and the electric shades made it simple to darken the room for sleeping'

'This is one of our all-time favorite hotels. The decorations, rooms, and location are all amazing. We stay here whenever we have a chance to come to Indy. I love the art deco style that pervades throughout the hotel. Sometimes I think I'll see Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin in the lobby.'

'The room we had was great. It was spacious and the tall ceilings made it feel even more spacious. The elevator needed some repairs because most of the handrails were falling off. Depending on what kind of experience you want, this location was located near a few bars with people enjoying themselves.'

'The room smelled of strong fragrance, was tiny, and very loud. It sounded like my window was open the entire night. It was absolutely not worth the amount of money I spent. The staff was fantastic, but I would never book this hotel again unless it was significantly cheaper.'

Staff were excellent from moment we arrived. room amenities were as described and location is terrific and well within walking distance to various restaurants and waterfront. highly recommend.'

'As a frequent traveler, I plan to go back to the hotel. I had an excellent waiter Geoffrey that was very friendly and efficient. The food , room accommodations were excellent.The only thing is you must call ahead of time to reserve a table for the breakfast/ brunch. My suggestion to the front desk is to ask during check in is whether you want to dine there and if so ,to make a reservation. Also, to let people know if there is an event nearby due to changes for pickup for rides, such as an Uber....

'While we found the staff to be friendly and helpful, the problem with the hotel is the location. It is right next to the bus station, and on a busy street (S. Delaware) that has LOUD cars and motorcycles racing by at all hours of the night. In addition, there is a lot of homeless people around the building. There is an abandoned building across the street on E. Washington and a number of homeless hang out there. We also saw a guy on drugs bent over and just standing there in a daze. I...

'The hotel was beautiful, and the rooms were perfectly adequate. Do not wait till the next morning to request a late checkout. By the time I realized I needed one, they had already "...met capacity for late checkouts."'
