'The Buck Inn is in a prime central location on a picturesque street. I think some of the recent reviews are unfair. Richmond is an expensive town and most places charge £160 to £180 per night. The Buck Inn charges £85 a night for a double and that includes a very good breakfast. The room is a large en-suite with tea/coffee/hot chocolate facilities and a fair sized tv. Good quality toiletries are provided. The bedding is clean and very good quality and the bed is comfortable. The downsides are...

'Food was excellent and was in a very scenic part of North yorkshire'

'The hotel was out in the countryside with excellent views over the moors. It was very clean and well cared for. Car parking was good. The room size, bed size, etc was great. One small problem - the room lighting was not very bright during the night time. The food was excellent and the staff were great. It was also a great place for walkers with great access to the countryside. I would recommend it.'

'Amazing location and lovely staff. Sunday roast was delicious! Our room was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet. We came for the dark skies, and it was easy to pop outside at 3am when the clouds broke for a moment. Our stay was everything we hoped it would be and we’ve already booked a return trip next year.'

'Heerlijk stil slapen. Schone ruime kamer. Gedateerd maar schoon. Badkamer oud. Wel een goede douche. Echt een herberg. Enkele kamers, weinig gasten. Lekker stil slapen.
