'Needs an upgrade'

'Alice who owns the property goes above and beyond what she needs to do she knows every guest by there 1st name had a meal in the Cantonese restaurant (which alice runs) on Friday and the food was 1st class breakfast there a choice a good choice all the staff are very friendly beds very comfortable and clean , showers nice and hot decor could do with a up date but to be honest I wasn’t there to look at the decor there was a group of 6 and we would definitely go back '

'This property was really beautiful and the staff were so kind! Unfortunately as it's an older building, there is no lift to the rooms so it probably won't be accessible to people with mobility challenges. '

'A really nice stay whilst we were walking The Dales Way. Stayed in room 2 which is on the top floor. It faces the road but there is no appreciable noise. Friendly welcome and food excellent, If in the area we will visit again.'
