'We loved the Sauk River Cabin! Perfect base for hikes along the Mountain Loop Highway and in North Cascades NP. Great location near Darrington, which has groceries, restaurants, and gas.The cabin itself is wonderful. Very comfy, and the river-side amenities like the fire pit and the lounge chairs on the riverbank make it a great place to hang out between and after explorations.Highly recommended!'

'The property was spacious, clean, and we enjoyed a beautiful view of the Skagit River from the back porch and family room area. We used the home as a base for driving into the North Cascades National Park and doing day hikes. We did Cascade pass, Maple pass, and Blue Lake trails and then enjoyed the beautiful drive back to the rental home each day where we prepared a delicious meal using the grill and enjoying the dining area with a view of the river. 'Quiet, comfortable and spacious. Never a dull moment due to availability of fun games and the hot tub was glorious after a day of skiing. Making delicious meals was easy thanks to the well equipped kitchen. '

'We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is extremely clean and well-maintained, and has pretty much anything you'd need for a short stay. The air conditioning in the summer was a huge plus! Overall, it was perfect for our weekend getaway and very accessible to Mount Baker and nearby trails. Check-in was super easy and communication was good. 'We really enjoyed our stay. Overall, an above average VRBO. Well appointed with the essentials and very clean. The portable AC unit upstairs kept that area cool enough. It was running when we arrived, a nice touch. We found the beds and bedding to be very comfortable. The big hot tub was in good shape and clean, chemicals not to heavy. It was great to hit the tub at the end of a long day driving/hiking. We cleaned up the hummingbird feeders (no soap), and filled them with the usual 4-1...

'Beautiful property. House stacked with many activities to keep us busy. Marcel did not list the common areas which only members can use. Was disappointed but again it was NOT advertised for use. I would totally recommend this to others who want to be at the archway to baker.'
