Bear Apartment

Apartment of about 80 square meters adjacent to Piazza Navona, in the historic center of Rome. The area is very characteristic with alleys, restaurants, street artists and is well connected with several bus lines near the house that allow you to move comfortably on foot or using public transport. Ideal for those who want to see and experience the climate of the Eternal City.

The house is located on the second floor with elevator in a stately building. The apartment is divided into two floors: below there is a double living room with kitchenette, a double sofa bed and a 55" Smart TV with Prime Video and Netflix (archive with more than 1000 films and TV series in different languages) . Upstairs there is a bathroom with shower and two small double bedrooms both with 32" Smart TV with Prime Video and Netflix. In the house there is a WIFI connection in fiber optic (very fast), air conditioning and heating in all rooms, washing machine, kettle, coffee machine, table and iron, parquet throughout the house.

The apartment is rented in full, without sharing with strangers.

You cannot beat the location of this apartment! And communication with the host was always prompt and easy. They helped arrange transportation from the airport and were clear on instructions for our stay. The apartment itself has a few issues as others have mentioned. Mainly the bathroom, kitchen and stained couch. The shower head was really low and didn’t have any water pressure, but the hand held shower head had lots of water pressure. So be careful when you turn it on, particularly because there really isn’t an enclosure. They do provide lots of nice large, clean comfortable towels though, so that helps when you inevitably leak water from the shower. The bathroom also frequently had a sewer smell. The issue with the stained couch has been solved by draping the whole thing with ill fitting fabric, which combined with the not so robust kitchen furniture and lack of natural light makes the apartment feel a little bit like a frat house- but cleaner. BUT, the bedroom has very comfortable beds, the whole apartment has great AC, and as I said, the location cannot be beat. There are many really great restaurants very close, and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. These accommodations are not accessible if you have mobility issues. If you want an affordable place to have a comfortable sleep while you explore Rome, and are ok with not ideal shower you’ll have a great stay!

Checking in took a little bit long but after that everything was good and easy. The location of the apartment was great and every single location of Rome’s point of interest was so close within 5 to 15 minutes walk. Lots of good resturant, bar, ice cream shops were around and close. Thanks to Helena for her service and kindness and the treats for the kids. Strongly recommended for staying in Rome.

First time in Rome

The apartment was as described but the shower did not work properly and was difficult since days were hot and everyone needed showers. Disappointed with management. They booked car service for us but car never came. They blamed the car service but did not respond to repeated attempts for an answer. Left a bad taste in my mouth and made for a stressful departure.

Great Place

Stayed with my family of 6. Pull out sofa was surprisingly very comfortable for two adults. Huge couch in living area is a plus, too. Place was very clean. The location of this place cannot be beat. We’ve never been to Rome and we’re so torn where to stay. So glad we chose this one as it is centrally located to everything. My only complaint, like another reviewer, is the awful shower situation. The floor becomes flooded with water with each shower. A simple curtain or rubber edging would solve it. It was a pain to deal with daily, especially with 6 people. If that issue gets fixed, this place is 5 star worthy. I still highly recommend this place.

Short stay in Rome

The property was very well situated and generally as pictured although furniture somewhat worn relative to photos. The apartment was a good size overall however for a family of 4, the single bathroom could have been better designed and included some towel hooks, shelving or cabinet. The tub/shower design was very odd, with a glass partition for only half the length of the tub and affixed only to the wall (not to the tub, where there was a gap) allowing it to swing dangerously and also resulting in water easily spilling out onto the floor until we rigged up a towel system to hold it in place and absorb the water. Apart from that, we were comfortable for our stay, the apartment and area was quiet and safe, we slept well and enjoyed exploring the City from our doorstep. Our host and assistants were responsive and helpful and also kindly offered to arrange our transportation to the airport on our departure.
