We were welcomed at the apartment by Carmine, who was very helpful in carrying the suitcases upstairs. When we arrived at the apartment, he informed us extensively how everything in the apartment works and what to do in the area. The information is also on a paper that is in the apartment. The apartment met all requirements. Everything you could need was there. The coffee maker was a Bialetti perculator for 4 cups, but you make fantastic coffee with it. Paolo and Carmine: compliment for the separation of waste. The no 8 tram is a 5 minute walk (downhill) from the apartment. The tram takes you to Largo di Torre Argentina, from where you can walk to Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. Or to Piazza Venezia, from there you can easily walk to the Forum, the Colosseum, the Trevi fountain, etc. For further destinations, such as the Spanish Steps or the Vatican, it is advisable to take the bus.
Piazza Cosimato is a 7-minute walk from the apartment. Walk a little further, then you will come to Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere with a huge number of restaurants and nice shops.
We have eaten twice at Capo de Fero on the Via di San Cosimato. Despite the location not touristy and original Italian food. Keep in mind, if you order meat, you get meat, if you want vegetables or pasta, etc., you have to order it separately. Recommended: the Osso Buco.
Tip for a cheap lunch close to home: Bar Gloriozo on the Vialle Gloriozo, right around the corner. Lunch for 5 or 6 Euro.
Location: great.
