DOMUS PICTA. Via Principe Amedeo

Helder, funky, stijlvol délabré appartement met 3 slaapkamers / 2 badkamers op ongeveer 10 minuten lopen van het station en op 2 blokken afstand van de rode lijn metro op de Piazza Vittorio, de etnische wijk van Rome. Op de vierde verdieping met lift, Wifi, AC, wasmachine, volledig uitgeruste keuken. Beddengoed en handdoeken zijn allemaal aanwezig.

Domus Picta is een uniek, funky, stijlvol appartementdecor. Het was ooit bedoeld als atelier van een kunstenaar die de muren van het oorspronkelijke interieur zorgvuldig heeft gestript. Schilderijen en zorgvuldig met de hand geplukt meubilair dat de stroom van het appartement verbetert. Op de vierde verdieping gemakkelijk bereikbaar met lift. Het heeft 3 grote, lichte, koele en rustige slaapkamers, twee gloednieuwe badkamers met douche en een open woonkamer met een volledig uitgeruste keuken, een zithoek voor 8 personen Wifi-verbinding en airconditioning zijn in elke kamer. Bewust hebben we geen tv aan het appartement toegevoegd omdat we denken dat het appartement zo charmant en mooi is.

Een uniek kenmerk van dit appartement zijn de gerestaureerde muurschilderingen die origineel zijn uit de jaren 1800.

Gelegen in de buurt van de grootste groente- en fruitmarkt van Rome en het metrostation Piazza Vittorio, het is een goede plek voor iemand die gemakkelijke toegang wil vanaf Termini, het stadscentrum . Direct achter uw appartementencomplex kunt u genieten van cocktails in het Rooftop Terrace Radisson Hotel. De dichtstbijzijnde parkeerplaats is in de Via Giolitti, op een paar meter van uw huis. 5 minuten lopen op Piazza Vittorio Emanuele 106. mijn favoriete bar "GATSBY", super bloody mary!

This apartment was so cosy and in a fabulous location (less than 5 minutes walk to the train or metro)! Costanza met us to hand over keys and show us the features of the apartment, as well as giving suggestions for sightseeing, restaurants, etc. We had plenty of space for our entire family and a fully equipped kitchen to cook at home if we wished. We would definitely recommend the apartment!

We had a great time in Rome and the apartment was in a really good location. We could walk to practically everything. This is a large apartment and was plenty of room for 3 adults. Costanza was very helpful upon arrival. She even helped us arrange for airport transfers. This was close to grocery stores, the train station, and the Colosseum.

The space is located just a short walk from the train station. Our host arrived shortly after we did, and was very friendly. She shared a map of the area with some recommendations. She also shared with us the story of the artworks in the apartment that were created by various members of her family. The space is lovely, with comfortable furniture and many plants, which added to the comfort level. The kitchen was well appointed.

A most enjoyable stay in Roma

Photos are true reflection of this rustic Italian feel apartment. It was very quiet, comfortable & we enjoyed the space. Location provides great access to the Roma Termini and metro. The area has a more local feel, with local cafes, restaurants, supermarkets n food market easy to find n close by. We felt safe in the area and found it to be a great base. Costanza was very accessible & helpful during our stay.

Authentic Italy

If you are looking for an authentic Italian experience, this is your place. It has an "old world" feel with modern amenities. It is also within walking distance to many of the places you will want to see while in Rome. Costanza was very helpful! She booked a driver to pick us up from the airport and gave us tips on where to eat, how to get around, etc. She even met us later (after our stay) to return an item we left in the apartment. We had an all around, excellent experience.

A perfect stay in Rome

The property was an absolutely beautiful converted art studio which helped us get into the spirit of Rome. The location next to the train station was easy for luggage, and the sights were a quick lime ride away. Costanza was an excellent host, giving us many tips on where to go for food and gelato which all turned out to be absolutely fantastic! We would definitely book here again and highly recommend!

Close to everything!

We found the flat very comfortable for our group of 4. I appreciated the amenities provided like spices, oil, etc for cooking. While o reserved for 3 people and we arrived with a 4th, we were charged an extra $80 for the 4th person. None of our other VRBOs did that, so not sure about that one. Very close to the colosseum and other points we planned to visit.

Overpriced near Termini

This 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment looks great in the photos, but it isn't. It's distinctly tatty and has seen better days. Our check-in didn't go smoothly - we were kept waiting for 30 minutes for the host to turn up. In the apartment itself multiple lights were not working, there was no WiFi, no TV, no tea towels. And we were asked to leave a tip for the cleaner despite the €100 cleaning fee ! The neighbourhood itself is far from salubrious. Not recommended

Great location

Costanza met us, introduced us to the apartment's features and took us for a coffee to share details about the area and Rome in general. We loved the neighborhood where the flat was located. There were restaurants, shopping, a park, coffee bar, the train/subway terminal, and large fresh food market all within short walking distance. The apartment was roomy and comfortable and just as described. Wish we had been staying longer!

Easy access to metro and Termini Station. Costanza very responsive to correspondence and letting us know cafe and grocer (open market was amazing!) locations as well as sights to see. A couple of suggestions to be more user friendly would be more toilet paper, and making available paper towels and napkins.

Girls Trip to Italy

Myself, my sister, and my adult daughter enjoyed the start of our Italy trip at this property! We enjoyed meeting with Constanza, who provided us with excellent information and steered us to the best meal we had in Rome! The beds were so comfy and the AC was a nice welcome from our tours during the hot days! We loved the apartment and the cute details. It was fun for us to get in extra steps with using the stairs and/or using the tiny lift if we were too tired. The super close cafe provided delicious cafe and cornettos and was our favorite start to the day. The location to the Termini was very nice as well as the metro station and both enabled us to navigate Rome easily. We highly recommend this fun apartment!!! A great stay!

We stayed here for 4 nights before heading to another location, and it was perfect for us. We loved the kitchen area and all the rooms were very comfortable. It was great to have 2 bathrooms, though the shower in the bigger bedroom was much nicer. The elevator was broken during most of our stay so that was a bummer but out of the hosts control. We enjoyed our time here!
