CasaLilli is een plek waar u de veiligheid en warmte van thuis kunt voelen. Het is eigendom van en wordt beheerd door een Engels sprekende familie, waardoor het gemakkelijk is om uw wensen en behoeften te communiceren.

Het heeft een moderne en zeer ruime woon / eetkamer met een slaapbank die comfortabel kan slapen twee, satelliet-tv, dvd-speler en een stereo-cd-speler. Er zijn twee smaakvol ingerichte badkamers, een met een bad en de andere met een douche en een föhn. De hoofdslaapkamer, ingericht met antiek meubilair, heeft een uitgesproken romantische uitstraling. De andere slaapkamer, met twee eenpersoonsbedden en een studeerkamer, is comfortabel en eigentijds. Beide slaapkamers zijn voorzien van airconditioning.

De keuken is volledig uitgerust met een magnetron, een vierpits gasfornuis met oven, koelkast, koffiezetapparaat, rijstkoker, mixer, broodrooster, plus alle benodigde kookgerei. Het leidt naar een terras waar u buiten kunt eten. Een wasmachine, stofzuiger en strijkijzer maken de lijst met voorzieningen compleet.

CasaLilli ligt op loopafstand van de bezienswaardigheden van het oude Rome - het Colosseum, het Forum Romanum, de Palatijn, de Trajanusmarkt en Circus Maximus. Net om de hoek, en niet te missen, is de basiliek van San Clemente, een structuur van drie kerken die op elkaar zijn gebouwd gedurende drie verschillende tijdperken, waardoor 2000 jaar christelijke geschiedenis wordt gecondenseerd. De Domus Aurea, beter bekend als het Gouden Huis van Nero, ligt op slechts een paar straten verderop. Het was vanaf hier dat de beroemde keizer toekeek terwijl Rome in brand stond.

We loved our stay in this apartment. We were walkable to restaurants and some attractions and yet the neighbourhood was quiet and felt quite safe. We also enjoyed having the little balcony as a place to have our coffee in the morning. It worked very well for two couples. Marmi was a very helpful host and was quick to answer any questions we had.

Our family of 4 stayed at this quaint apartment and had a lovely stay. Beds were super comfy, outdoor area was great for breakfast and doing laundry. Great wifi as my husband had to work and our streaming sites worked great. 2 bathrooms with 2 showers was a game changer. Worth every penny

Lovely Stay

I took my son to Rome for his 18th bday in March. I didn't want to stay in a hotel for a variety of reasons, but one being price. The second, we wanted to have a kitchen and the experience of living like a local. We found the apt safe, large, and providing all we needed. I stayed in spring and used the heat a couple times. I was able to store my luggage in the AM until the 2pm check in time. I did have to use google translate to communicate with the checkin lady. The apartment is spacious and in a location near restaurants and the Colosseum. If you want piazza life, then stay elsewhere. Coffee nearby: Cafe Antica Roma. Excellent cappuccinos and pastries. Order your coffee and food, then pay. Gelato nearby: We preferred to walk further for gelato at Il di Constanza vs at the end of the street. You will walk a ton to see things other than the Colosseum. We opted to do Uber (selecting the taxi option), to see various areas because the 30-40 min walks were a but much after so many days. We selected the host's option for an airport transfer. Was efficient but a bit pricey compared to Uber's.

Fantsstic stay at Casa Lilli

Great Location in Rome

The apartment is only a few blocks from the Colosseum yet it is located on a street that is relatively quiet. It was a great launching point for our days in Rome. Marmi, the host, arranged for a car from the train station and greeted us upon arrival at the apartment. She is very personable and was very responsive to any questions we had (both while we were there and in advance of our stay). The pictures of the apartment in the listing give you a good idea of the apartment. There is also a patio that gives you an outdoor space. It's a great spot in Rome to stay. The only issue we had was that an adjacent apartment was undergoing a rehab so there was construction noise on the weekdays, but we weren't at the apartment much in the daytime anyway. You might want to check with Marmi on the status of that if you're planning to stay sometime soon. We highly recommend this apartment and thank Marmi for being such a good host.

So close to the Colosseum!

Marmi's home was perfect for our group of 4. Her home was quaint and tidy. It had everything we needed for our stay. It was conveniently located just a 3 minute walk from the Colosseum and within a 25 minute walk to Trevi fountain, Roman Forum, and many other amazing sites. Marmi made the check-in/out process smooth and easy. She also helped us book private tours that were great. Thank You Marmi. If we ever travel back to Rome we will stay with you again.

Excellent stay in Rome

Marmi is an excellent host. Location was great. The tour she arranged for us to go to the Vatican was superb. Our guide was excellent and well worth the money. Things to consider- the property only has AC in the bedrooms so we had to put a fan in the door to spread some of the cold air into the living room. Second- the clothes washer was broken from a previous tenant. I washed a few things in the sink and hung them to dry on the back porch. Remember to pack comfortable shoes! We averaged five miles a day walking this beautiful city!

Great location with the BEST host!!

The apartment was comfortable for our family of 6. Marmi met us there when we arrived. The apartment had everything we needed, and the location was a few steps from a delicious gelato shop, a couple of minutes walk from streets lined with restaurants, and a few minutes from the Colosseum. The neighborhood felt safe, even at night, and a small grocery store was just down the street. The best part of it all was Marmi! She helped set us up for fantastic private tours as soon as we booked. We had private drivers, private tour guides, and private experiences. Our trip to Rome was full and fabulous! Marmi went above and beyond as a host! She even arranged a driver to pick us up from the airport and another to get us to our cruise ship a few days later. Marmi, thank you for providing more than just an accommodation for us. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Rome and hope to return. We would absolutely stay at this apartment again.

Another great stay

This was our second time at this apartment. There are plenty of restaurants and a store close by. The gelato shop was wonderful right next to the apartment. We love this location and size of the apartment. Yes, we did hear some construction next store which was out of the hosts control but it didn’t cause us any problems. I recommend this apartment, perfect for our family and the host even had updated furniture since our last stay. Thanks!!

Positives: *Nice, helpful hostess and spacious unit. *Close to good restaurants and walking distance to Colosseum and Forum/Palatine Hill. *Ubers and taxi easily get to street corner near the unit. *Washers in unit is very helpful. Needs improvement : *The WiFi can be slow. * Construction next door started at 7:30 am one day and 9:00 am another day, just beware of that.

Lovely apartment near the Colosseum

The apartment is in a great location near several restaurants and a short walk to the Colosseum. The building is older and not in great condition but the apartment was very nice. Definitely old world charm but with very comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. Our host was very responsive and we would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay.
