The apartment is located in a more working-class neighborhood, behind a college/school, so expect to see tons of graffiti on the walls outside. That is not an indicator of the safety of the neighborhood at all though, as we spent our evenings walking around and exploring shops and restaurants without fear or any sense of danger. The apartment itself is cozy, with two rooms (a bedroom and a living room with a pull-out bed in the couch). The hot water is instant and it lasts a while, and there is a washing machine in the kitchen under the sink. The shower is a little tight to enter, so if you have a larger body shape this may not work for you. The bed is firm and comfortable, and the heating is effective.
