'Everything was good; it’s just the extreme amount of mosquitoes in and around our rooms were a turn off. Had severe rashes on my toddlers body and face and our arms, the property needs to do something about the mosquitoes infestation.'

'Surprise dog fee when we got there, we prepaid on Expedia which didn't include their dog fee. For the price we could have stayed somewhere much nicer. We had ants in the room the whole time, they tried to eat the empty dog food bowls. The hair dryer didn't work at all. The pool was out if commission as the whole place was under renovation. The bed was very firm, hard. The place will likely be better after renovation but until then spend your hard earned money and time elsewhere'

'There NOT all cabins some are a motel room. Not enough electric outlets. The shower has no lights in it and no racks or shelf’s in the shower. The room was musty smelling and the carpet was nasty . It really needs a remodel. The pool and hot tub had a lot of sand on the bottom. But the weather was great.'

'Pros: Very nice place in a beautiful area with large lakefront rooms a few minutes from downtown Mackinaw City. They have bonfires & smores at sunset on their beach, and a basic breakfast buffet in the morning. Cons: Room was a musty, breakfast was just ok, coffee was sub-par.'

'The property could use some updating in the rooms. The bathroom was extremely small with a very old shower stall. Could have been a little cleaner. Hardly enough room to turn around in bathroom. The beds were nice. The view from the room was beautiful. There was an old upholstered chair in the room that looked quite dirty. Very accommodating for a last minute reservation.'

'This is an adorable B&B and the proprietors were so kind. My flight was horribly delayed (and stressful as I almost didn't find a way to even get to Cheboygan to pick my son up from camp) and I didn't end up arriving until 3:00 in the morning. I was texting with Ann and sure enough she was sitting on their back porch waiting for me when I arrived. I slept through breakfast and she had saved some for me that she reheated when I was up. 'The water park was bad. Water slides torn down the pool had no signs to tell you how deep it was and the kiddy play area was freezing. And the humidity in the rooms was terrible the carpet felt wet. It’s gone down hill since we stayed here 6 years ago. Will not be coming back'

'The hotel is nice but is a little different! The layout is confusing but I would totally stay again. The 2 bedroom suite was worth it! The pool was clean and big also. We used the little arcade and that was fun but some things weren’t working the best. All in all we would stay again price wise, convince of two bedrooms when you have kids and location!'
