Vakantiehuizen in Round Island

'The view of the lake and peaceful atmosphere is what drew us here. It didn’t disappoint. The fall colors were beautiful!'

'Cabin is right on the lake. Very rustic. Host was a great communicator and answered when we reached out and did consistently check in. Understand this is a cabin in the woods, decor is not a concern to me but the place did not feel clean. The toilet backed up twice while we were there and the bathroom floor would get puddles from the toilet ( not overflow but it seemed the toilet was leaking from underneath). This was our cabin #1. I cannot speak for the other cabins.'

'Good location close to Mackinac City less than 10 min drive. Great host very attentive. My only complaint are the beds are uncomfortable and the bathroom is a little tight.'

'The cabin is not what they portray. No heat and broken cabinets. No communication on refund.'

'Definitely it’s the epitome of your old rustic lakeside cabin! I say that in a good way! Couple of things, The refrigerator door didn’t close all the way, we had to put a box in front of it to hold it closed. Maybe making some of the windows open with screens. Other than those, it was a beautiful, peaceful week!!'

'This was the perfect home base for some UP adventures! It was clean and spacious, well-stocked and comfortable (especially all the beds!). All of this came with absolutely breathtaking views and a quick walk to food, gift shops, and the ferry! Winning all around!Thank you for sharing this space with us, we will certainly be back soon!'

'The peaceful lakefront location is unbeatable and staff were very kind and responsive to our requests, and even upgraded us to a larger cabin. The clubhouse is also clean, bright and well-equipped. The cabins would be much more comfortable if they were upgraded to the same level as the clubhouse, e.g,, remove the carpets, add better lighting, and update bathrooms.'

'Cozy and updated property with a very central location in St Ignace minutes from the Mackinac ferry and bridge. Stayed 2 nights with family of 5 (3 young kids) and felt safe and comfortable. Host communicated well throughout stay - would stay here again if in St. Ignace anytime.'

'Richie is a great host. We came very late at 12 in the midnight and he stayed till then to receive us. There were extra pillows and throws. Beds were clean. Bathroom needs an upgrade and a lock in the door. Everything else was fine, it was a safe and quiet place.'

'Honestly, I loved almost everything about the stay, great setup and comfortable space. However, the master bedroom had a very strong animal pee smell, which made it unusable. Also, the bathroom didn’t have any hand soap, which was inconvenient. Everything else was nice, but these issues definitely affected the experience.'

'We had a great stay! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and stocked with all the essentials for cooking, sleeping, bathing, and storing food. The added bonus of replenished firewood made our evening bonfires even more enjoyable. The lake amenities were excellent and easily accessible throughout our stay. Fishing was productive, and the complimentary rowboats, kayaks, and paddle boards with life jackets provided a great way to explore the lake. The lake is well-maintained with eight aeration...

'Loved the view of the lake and close to everything we wanted to do.'

'Very friendly. Clean room'

'The property was as expected based on the listing. Worked well for our family of 6, 4 adults and 2 grand kids. Nice setting, extremely quiet was a good base to see some of the UP sites. We didn't atv, but the trails were very close but far enough that you could hear any noise. Would recommend for family vacation. Could accommodate 9 easily and the two living areas would be good for multi generational vacations.'

'Place was clean. The house and property was very minimal for the amount charged. Very overpriced'
