'I’m sure the inside of the property was nice. But, when we arrived at the building, we decided not to get out of our car. The area did not look safe. The building looked rundown with broken windows, and AC units hanging out of them, the road itself was full of potholes and trash. The “gated parking lot” looked like a dump. Parking is on the street across a moderately busy road and the check in process no longer involves a lock box outside the building despite what Vrbo may send you in the check in notes. 'Booked a last-minute trip to make the PWHL Detroit takeover game because my teenage son rediscovered his love for hockey, and so did I. This place was the PERFECT location for what we needed- we walked to the arena, then later to Comerica park and Ford field, to take tourist-y photos. Kitty-corner on one side is a whole foods, in the other is DMC. '

'Upon arrival, we had difficulty communicating with the owner. There had been a payment issue but VRBO never told us & any messages the owner was sending never came through. The link to the page that was supposed to contain instructions was broken. We had to contact VRBO and get them to contact the owner, only to find out we had to process a payment to get access. Note - the outside of the building and the parking areas are POORLY maintained. The gated parking is wild. People park any sort of way...

'Clean'

'Property was as pictured. Bed was nice looking but uncomfortable. We stayed four nights and was only provided one set of towels. Unit does have a washer/dryer but no small aundry soap. Suggestion to provided a small box of laundry soap. Parking was a little challenging but was provided good communication from Property owner. Overall stay was good. Near a located convenience store and restaurants and bars. '
