'We had a family & friends weekend to Gardeners World & Good Food Show at the NEC. The Coleshill Hotel is perfectly located so I booked 4 rooms. What a pleasant surprise it was and gem of a place I will certainly be returning to when I am in the West Midlands on business. Plenty of car parking which is free for guests. Great wifi connection. 'Lovely hotel, utterly delightful rooms! Yes the curtians need replacing as other people have said, but it's almost in keeping with a 600 year old building. Food was OK but not special. Tutbury is pleasant and the castle is worth seeing! All in all a very pleasant stay and will go back.'

'Oldest pub in town, founded in 1368. It almost looks like the interior and comfort of the rooms has not changed since.... very small room, bed to short and very, very thin walls. Everything happening in either of the adjecent rooms could impossably be ignored. Breakfast only available after 8.00, which is annoying when on a business trip with early meetings. Staff was kind enough to give me a coffee in the morning, but this did not male up for a bad night sleep.'

'We came for 4 days to go to Download festival and it was perfect. The staff are all lovely.. especially Emma! Always helpful, even leaving out cardboard for our extremely muddy boots. The walk along the canal is beautiful too. Highly recommend this place.'
