'This cabin was the perfect size for our family of four. We were in town for the New River Trail races (I ran the 50k) and we enjoyed the map of the trail on the dining table. The kitchen was stocked and the snacks and K cups were appreciated. There is a trail down to the river (not for those with limited mobility) and it was a fun adventure finding the markers in the trees. 'very clean and quaint! The cottage had everything you could possibly need and was well stocked with supplies . We did use the washing machine and it did not spin clothes very well. We had to hand wring them before drying. It was the retreat we were looking for. '

'From entering the cabin, to the time we left, we were met with a warm cozy spirit. The place was clean and smelt pleasant, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. 'The Huckleberry Cabin was very cozy and nicely decorated. It was rustic and true to its original build in the 1800’s with modern upgrades. Walking through the front door was like stepping back in time. Great place to stay to get off the grid and reconnect with nature or unplug from the computer, but also close enough to town if you need supplies. '

'This. Place. Is. Awesome! The pictures do not do it justice. Amazing location far from civilization. Great place to go to unplug. I wish we would have had more time to spend there but we were just passing through and only stayed one night. Whether you want to do your best impersonation of Henry David Thoreau or get back to basics with the kids you cannot go wrong with this property. The owner is a really nice guy as well. '

'The view of the mountains was beautiful! We really enjoyed staying in this cabin and being so close to Grayson Highlands State Park. Ashley was great as a host. We were surprised that the bottom floor was a completely different entrance from the main floor, but luckily my kids are old enough that it was fine. The details of the cabin were really nice. Overall a wonderful experience!'
