'Exactly what is needed for a little get away! Such a cute cottage, wonderful outdoor space with fire pit and hot tub. Short walk to the most beautiful beach I have seen in Port Austin with a wonderful sunset view. Host was kind and accommodating. Would highly recommend this little get away! :)'

'This was our second stay here and we'll probably stay again if we have at least 6 people. It's worth the little bit of extra money. Great location, great host and we love the house. '

'My wife and I were traveling through and found the Lighthouse on short notice. The Lighthouse sits at the base of Saginaw Bay and has a 280 degree view of the water. The sunrise and sunset was simply amazing and the bird watching was incredible. We saw so many birds but the most impressive was a juvenile bald-eagle fishing on the bank prior to sunrise. The Lighthouse is small and tight but a perfect location if you want to get away and simply hit the reset button. You will not be disappointed. '

'Meals out on the deck, hot dogs cooked over a fire, several nice hiking trails nearby. Tricky to find, but clean, secluded, relaxing and comfy bed. Has fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, washer & dryer. Didn’t use all those myself, but someone else may who reads this review!'

'Everything was amazing! Couldn’t ask for a better location. Although small the inside was very cozy and homey. The outdoor living area was perfect! We spent all day on the couch, listening to the sound of the waves and our dog absolutely loved the freedom of the fenced in yard. We will definitely keep this place on our radar to visit again!'

'We had a very relaxing weekend! Spent some time in Frankenmuth and appreciated having the cabin to come back to and relax after shopping. The store across the street is convenient for anything we may have forgotten to pack. The kitchen is well stocked! Thank you! '

'We had such a great time at this Port Austin cozy cabin. When you first arrive, you are greeted by a beautifully landscaped yard with both a side and back deck, there is also a fire pit, a horseshoe pit, and a basketball net in the driveway. I was impressed by the cleanliness, and we truly had everything we could need and more: washer, dryer, dishwasher, stove, fridge, air fryer, waffle maker, full kitchen utensils, stacks of towels and extra blankets... 'This small beachfront house is ideal for getting away from the hustle and bustle of life. From the fully furnished kitchen to the back deck looking out to the beach and wonderful view of Saginaw Bay, this house was charming and had ample room for our family of six. The hosts have provided plenty of games to entertain yourself on those days or nights you need to stay inside. There is a beach firepit and there is even firewood for purchace onsite. We will be looking to book this little gem down...

'This was our annual girls trip. We have 7 in our group and the Anchor House had plenty of bedrooms and plenty of space. We enjoyed the fire pit and the lovely view. We would definitely stay here again! Location was perfect!'
