'We had a great overnight stay at West Coast Surf and Stay! The place is in the old side, no outlet in the bathroom but Dave is very accommodating and lent us an extension cord. We love the friendly vibe and neighborhood feel. Lots of places to eat that you can walk to. We will stay here again!'

'This is a small hotel/motel that was recently renovated. The owners were fantastic and accommodating. The room was clean and quiet enough since it is located on a busy street. There is ample parking and is located near many restaurants. The room was on the small size and there was no microwave therefore the 4 rating for comfort. Would definitely stay again!'

'I had a wonderful stay. A lot of space and my room had an awesome view of the beach and the pier. Was a quick walk to the beach and they offer beach towels and chairs for you to use. Also close to a small store and a couple of places to grab a quick bite to eat. It is a bit of an older property but it is well maintained. The staff is very friendly. I hesitate to review this too well because it’s a relatively small property and I don’t want it to sell out the next time I want to visit. '

'A quick down south for a wedding in Fallbrook and a visit to a fun tiki bar down the street from the Always Inn. Freida is a lovely host and gave us wonderful advice about the local restaurants and some of her own food! Breakfast was stellar. Be prepared to hear some amazing stories about Freida’s life. '
