  • U heeft volledige toegang tot het gehele huis met 2 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. We profiteren van zeebries op de meeste dagen van het jaar, maar het kan heet worden wanneer Santa Ana vanuit de woestijn over de bergen blaast. We hebben draagbare AC-units in beide slaapkamers, maar meestal hoeft u alleen de ramen en deuren te openen om te genieten van het mooie weer waar San Diego om bekend staat. Lake Murray is een mooi park om naar toe te lopen (en gedeeltelijk rond het meer) vanuit het huis. Cowles Mountain is ook een populaire wandelbestemming, er is ook een golfbaan naast het meer. Het deurslot is digitaal en ik krijg je je toegangscode twee dagen voordat je aankomt. Ik woon en werk in de aangrenzende duplex, maar reis vaak zodat we elkaar tijdens uw verblijf al dan niet kunnen ontmoeten. Ik zal natuurlijk mijn e-mailadres en mobiele nummer opgeven als er een probleem of noodgeval is. De dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt is Vons aan Lake Murray Drive. Het is ongeveer 1,5 km ten noorden van het huis. Vine Ripe is een geweldige plek voor verse groenten, deli, vers vlees en het is op Fletcher Parkway net ten oosten van Costco op Fletcher Parkway (neem Parkway Drive East naar Baltimore, sla linksaf op Fletcher Parkway. Net aan de andere kant van het I8-viaduct slaat u rechtsaf voor Dennys, Marie Callendar's of DZ Aikens (een plaatselijke favoriet met deli & woestijn in NY-stijl en een koosjer restaurant). Op loopafstand is Lake Murray Cafe en ze hebben net een kleine bar toegevoegd. Zoals opgemerkt, heb je gelijk in het hart van San Diego. Als u van plan bent tussen de ochtend- en middagspits te rijden, kunt u binnen enkele minuten bij de beste attracties in San Diego zijn. Ocean Beach ligt 15 minuten recht naar het westen waar Interstate 8 eindigt. Sea World, Mission Beach en Pacific Beach liggen op 30 km afstand. La Jolla Cove ligt op ongeveer 40 mijl afstand aan het einde van de 52 Freeway West. De San Diego Zoo, het Gaslamp District Downtown, Balboa Park en Petco Park liggen allemaal op 15-20 minuten afstand. De wasmachine en droger staan buiten naar links als je het terras op gaat. We houden wasdoppen en droogtrommels beschikbaar. Reinig de pluizenvanger van de droger. Ik zou niet aanraden hier te verblijven als je niet van plan bent een auto te huren of Uber of Lyft te gebruiken om naar de Trolley aan de andere kant van de snelweg te gaan (of in Downtown La Mesa, afhankelijk van de lijn die je zou nemen om naar het centrum te gaan ) maar de trolley gaat niet naar het vliegveld of een van de stranden.

This property is in a great location. As they say, " location,location,location." Location is great however having the owners of the property be the best I have experienced in at leaset10 vrbo rentals is the icying on the cake. They were excellent for all of my 34 days. Highly recommended plus 10 stars for my personal rating

Our host Steve was very helpful and got back to us when we The unit was in a nice neighborhood and was very clean with comfy beds. Our only suggestion is that he updates the unit by fixing holes in the wall s and ceilings and then repainting. Also, a new couch is sorely needed. Also, aout to him.

AMAZING LOCATION, QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD.

Beautiful location, quiet neighborhood. Cozy spacious home, nice outside patio & front yard. Washer and dryer in the unit which is convenient. Best deal for the price. Steve the home owner lives minutes away therefore if you need anything he will be there for you if you need him.

Steve was very communicative. The process was easy (this was our first time using Vrbo & our first time in Cali). The house was exactly what we needed. It was clean and had all the essentials for a 10 day trip. Our flight got delayed so we had to stay an extra night and Steve gave us a discount for the last night. Overall great experience.

Location near family in La Mesa was why we chose this VRBO, yet plenty close to Downtown (15 minutes /-) with easy access to the freeway. Kitchen was clean but can’t comment on appliances and accessories as we didn’t cook anything, just had cereal and made coffee in the coffee maker (fresh ground coffee and filters provided). Beds were comfortable for us (we’re not picky though), smart TV worked well, Wi-Fi worked fine, however, the place and furniture are dated and need some TLC. Host (Steve) provided easy access instructions and offered early check-in.

Perfect for Family with Small Children

Centrally located just like the listed describes, the duplex was perfect for a week stay for our family. It might have been small with older children or adults, but for our 3 littles it was perfect. We were easily able to drive to the beach and other attractions. Would recommend a car to get around and parking at the house was easy. Steve, the owner, was readily available for our only issue and he fixed the water leak within a day. The only thing I would like to point out about the house was that it could use some TLC, but it was clean, friendly, and a nice place to stay.

This VRBO was easy to find. It was clean and comfortable to live in. The code for the door worked perfectly. We felt safe in the neighborhood. It was only a couple of minutes from one of the main interstates. Easy to drive anywhere. We visited LA, the zoo and the Gas Lamp district. We went to La Jolla beach too. All were convenient with minimal travel time- except for LA. But that too was easy reach by the interstate. The VRBO was cool and comfortable. We used the air conditioners only at night. Otherwise leaving the doors and windows open was great. We spent time on the patio in the evenings and early mornings. The washer and dryer were very handy. We had one issue when a breaker was thrown and Steve took care of that in minutes. We would definitely go back.

Perfect location for us

The location was everything we hoped for. We had easy access to the 8 with one exit to and from our family. It was close to the golf course we mainly use, close to La Mesa center, and very close to Lake Murray trail. The master bedroom and bed were comfortable and spacious. The neighborhood felt safe and was very walkable. We met the owner when we arrived and he was very friendly and helpful. We had to contact him a couple of times and his response was quick, courteous, and helpful. The only issues were we would have liked better lighting in the second bedroom and the sofa in the sitting room was difficult to get out of. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be able to rent this home on our next visit to the family.

IF YOU DO NOT WANT THE BEACH

Location...location...location... less than 20 minutes to everything in the area. O.K., was 23 minutes to the casino. Shopping, restaurants, drugstores, attractions 3 to 10 minutes away. Never had horrid traffic. Wonderful hosts. That said, place is showing its age, like me. Needs some updating and painting. But, was clean. The one constant complaint we have with vrbo homes: Knives are never sharp. Until this year, have always driven out to Ca., so bringing my own was not a problem. Is a real pain when knives are actually dull. As always, we enjoyed our vrbo stay.

Very convenient with a couple of quirks

Overall, a very nice stay. We lived in SD for 40 years so are very familiar with the area and wanted somewhere between the family members we were visiting. This location was perfect. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable. There is lots and lots of storage. We had everything we needed, although kitchen equipment is minimal if you actually want to cook. There's plenty of street parking. It's very close to the freeway, shopping, etc. The quirks- the bedroom has a multi-outlet adapter plugged into a three-prong adapter plugged into a a wall socket that is probably very unsafe wiring. The internet went on and off constantly, especially at night. And someone next door snored VERY loudly every morning, which was very audible in the living room. Overall, I'd stay here again.

Good place to stay

The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. It is located in a nice quite neighborhood. We rented two other apartments on this trip where we shared a bathroom (two couples). It was nice to have our own bath. The apartment is located far enough away from most venues that you will need to travel. We drove so we needed to pay attention to traffic. It might have been better to park and ride the metro. The only issue we encountered was the loss of the internet connection one evening but Steve had the cable company out the next day. We would recommend this rental.

Nice neighborhood and location!

Steve was great! We had a small issue and he came and took care of it right away. There was only air conditioning in the bedrooms and it was hot the week we stayed, but it really wasn’t too bad and we were mostly gone during the day anyway. The accommodations were pretty basic, but comfortable and that was reflected in the price. There is a great park with a lake and great walking trails within walking distance from the house. And of course there’s all that San Diego has to offer!

We had a great stay at this location. The house was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Steve was very easy to work with and replied to messages right away. We had family in Lakeside and visited San Diego, and we were centrally located. We would definitely stay here again when we visit. Absolutely loved the remolded bathroom.

Good location, lack of cooking facilities!!

The house was in an excellent location, really close to freeway to get everywhere quickly and no noise from the freeway. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the cleanliness, particularly under the bed in the second bedroom. Also the china, and glasses and silverware were very limited so didn't use the dishwasher as was never half full and then we needed everything for the next meal. And as for the cookware, 3 skillets and 1 saucepan and no baking sheets for the oven made it impossible to cook a meal!!! Master bed and bath had been updated, but now to the rest of the place!!
