Very nice condo that was close to everything. The place was well stocked with the essentials. 5 minute walk to the beach, Sea World was less than 10 minutes. Multiple restaurants and a little market within walking distance. Parking is a little tight so if you have a large vehicle it might be more difficult. Our family really enjoyed the stay here.

The property was very comfortable for our group of 5. The kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils and cookware. The host was very accommodating to our needs. The only complaint we had was the water pressure in both showers wasn't great. Would highly recommend area and host. Thank you Nancy for allowing us to rent your home. We had a fabulous trip!

Super clean, fantastic location - perfect vacation rental

A family of four staying for a few days, enjoyed Mission Beach and everything within walking distance, easy Lyft to and from airport. The home was immaculate, communication was seamless (we don't normally use VRBO so I really appreciated the detail we received). The property also has access to beach toys and wagons, my teens loved trying to boogie board and I appreciated not having to pack beach towels! For those concerned about A/C, it's just not a thing in San Diego and the fans were enough. Location is awesome, and the amenities were great. You are also right on Mission Bay, and minutes from the beach. Sunrise on the Bay and sunset on the beach - all a matter of steps. Pretty cool!

Teenage birthday beach celebration

I took my son and four of his friends to the beach for his 15th birthday party! I found this cute little place within walking distance to the volleyball courts and basketball courts on Mission Beach, and walking distance to Mission Bay! It was the best location and the kids really Enjoyed sitting out on the patio playing games! The only complaint I have is that we didn’t stay long enough. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Nothing went wrong during our stay, and she had great recommendations for lunch spots 10 out of 10 highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We loved being able to walk to the beach and some restaurants. The host was responsive and allowed an early check in and resolved a minor issue with not enough towels very quickly. Sheets on some of the beds could be replaced as the elastic was worn out and they kept slipping off the bed. There is a lovely deck to eat out on or have a glass of wine. Quiet neighborhood and it was great to have the parking space out back - it just fit our midsized SUV. Would stay here again for sure.

Perfect Location

This home was so comfortable and had all the amenities we needed for a week stay. We were steps from the beach and the bay and enjoyed morning walks to both. The owner quickly answered any questions we had. We enjoyed the patio and cooking in the kitchen. As long as you have a small car, parking is right in front, but that is standard for all the homes in that area. We were very comfortable in our beds, and everything was very clean. We recommend this home, it is perfect for anyone wanting the whole beach experience with their family.

Great location and nice property!

There were four adult family members in our group and we truly enjoyed our weekend at this property! We were really close to both the ocean and the bay, and we walked to restaurants and other activities nearby. We cooked our own breakfasts and found adequate kitchen supplies, and we enjoyed eating in the nice outdoor area in front. We felt safe at all times and were glad to have the parking space available. The property manager was very responsive to questions, and we appreciated that beach towels, boogie boards and beach chairs and games were provided. My only question about the accuracy is that I would have liked more photos to have a better understanding of the floor plan ahead of time. Having said that, the floor plan worked fine for our group. We would like to stay here again if we return to Mission Beach!

Great little place in a nice location.

Great little place in a nice Mission Beach location. Walk to the bay is short and it’s a beautiful place to hang out. The beach is about a block farther (still super close/convenient!) This unit has a classic beach bungalow feel. A little small, but does the job! The trundle in the third room came in very handy. (Though we could not find any pillows for it and a few extra pillows in the unit would be great.) Out of towners: remember that most San Diego homes do not have air conditioning. There is a fan in each bedroom, and nice bedroom windows with screens and plantation shutters. They were very easy to open and close. (Not old sticky windows at all!) My only recommendation would be to add a ceiling fan in the living room replacing the center can light. We weren’t comfortable leaving the windows and doors open when we weren’t there and it did get stuffy even though the temperatures were not terribly high during our visit. All in all, I would definitely recommend this cute place for a vacation.

Just Magical

We all are anxious when we book a property - and having guests join us. Did I make the right choice!! I was drawn to this property from the pictures. Loved the pictures of patio area as we enjoy sitting outside. We were 4 adults- 2 moms and our married children It was just perfect for us. The court was so quiet during our stay. What I didn’t realize was the bay was short walk to the right and the ocean to the left- short walk across the street. Morning coffee on bay side- nightly sunset on beach side!! Several good restaurants on beach side that you can walk too. If you plan to do a lot of cooking you may want to bring your own knives!! Thats my only suggestion Love this property and property manager was so kind when I was having a meltdown on where to park!! Follow the directions you receive from vrbo. In trouble if you put address on goggle maps!! Right David!!

pros & cons

pros: great location, very close to the beach and other conveniences. owner was quick to answer back when any concern/questions were asked. the patio is very cute and spacious for little ones to play and just hang out outside! cons: NO AC! keep in mind there is no ac/fans. if the weather is not perfect it is very hot and humid in the home, wouldn’t recommend to stay with kids unless you bring your own fans! there is only one parking space so others will have to try and find parking along the street which can be very difficult.

Great Mission Bay rental!

We loved this place! Great layout, seemed like it had been renovated recently and was nicely decorated. In a great spot just steps away from beautiful Mission Bay and walking distance to a grocery store and some good restaurants. Comfy beds, too. Would highly recommend and also we hope to be back!

Good value - everything as expected

We had a good experience with this property. Living areas were in good condition and the adjacent properties were clean and quiet. Very convenient walk to bay and beach. Garage parking was good and second parking by garage very convenient. Interior was well lit and bathrooms and kitchen were clean and in good working order. Met our expectations and would recommend to others looking for a good value in Mission Beach.
