'Stayed 6 nights and enjoyed them all. Walked into fresh cookies and felt very welcomed. Cabin had everything we needed.Teens and adults enjoyed the games, hot tub and fire. We all enjoyed the short walk to beach on Lake Superior and definitely enjoyed the sunsets. We spent some time on Monocle Lake as well swimming and kayaking. Cabin was great and large enough for all of us, and the screened porch was the perfect place for coffee in the morning.'

'Our stay at this property was absolutely amazing! We stayed with our family, including two children under two, and it couldn’t have been a better fit. 'My partner, dog and I came to sugar island to experience a new place in the UP and we will certainly be returning to Sweet Retreat!! Sheri and Jeff were the most accommodating of hosts and truly go above and beyond to ensure everyone’s comfort and fun. We used the bikes on the property and were lucky enough to take a pontoon cruise with the hosts our last night. The cabin was absolutely adorable and had everything we needed. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough! We can’t wait to come back!'
