'We all loved the location and how spacious the house is. We were also impressed by how well equipped the kitchen is. But with the exception of one bedroom, the beds were incredibly uncomfortable and desperately need new mattresses. The house is lovely but generally looks tired and is in need of a facelift. The same can be said of the garden and the garden furniture as its present condition is not at all inviting.'

'If you are unsure about booking. Then don't be. The cottage is exceptionally well looked after and wants for nothing. Comfortable and well appointed within the town with parking for 2 cars an absolute bonus. Kate thank you for letting us stay at your lovely property and for answering promptly all my questions.'

'Sixteen of my family and friends have just spent a long weekend in very sunny Scarborough (May 2023). Seacrest Lodge was the perfect venue for our party and due to my parents poor mobility, the accessibly of Seacrest was ideal. Several of our party walked into Filey and Scarborough along the coastal walk/Cleveland Way which they utterly enjoyed. Younger party members caught a bus into Filey for a Steampunk Weekend or drove into Scarborough and returned for an early evening soak in the hottub....
