'As expected, the tent was on a cool lake in a very remote spot. Unfortunately, the tent was definitely not the one pictured in the listing. The listing showed a round tent, and this one was a typical “house” style. It is quite windy on the lake, so be prepared to keep the tent closed up. The lake itself is hard to use, but it was a beautiful sunset. They had a bathroom trailer nearby but hauled it off at night, so we had to drive to some less than desirable accommodations up the hill. Overall,...

'This was the perfect spot to gather our family of 15 who came from 4 different states. We ranged in age from 5 to 78 and there was always something for everyone - a nice pool, hot tub, pool table, Foosball, large kitchen with plenty of cooking supplies and plenty of bedrooms and triple bunk beds that the kids enjoyed!'

'We loved our stay at The View. The home was beautiful and so well furnished. We loved having bathrooms with every bedroom, plus a bunk room for the kids. The kitchen was roomy and well furnished. We loved the outdoor space with the deck, hot tubs, playground, grassy area, and ampitheater. The access to the lake was close and the dock was very nice. The view is a perfect name for the home, as the views are truly spectacular. Thanks for sharing your home with us.'

'The property is obviously older and just recently taken over by new owners who are putting in the work to bring it up to a standard. They were pleasant and accommodating and had the property clean and nice, albeit dated. On Expedia, however, it is listed as a VRBO where you get the “whole house” which includes “Bedroom 1” and “Bedroom 2”. The hotel was 45 minutes out of the way for me on a 3-day trip, but I did the driving so I could better accommodate my wife and children, but it ended up...

'Cool spot. Right next to the beach. The power never charged that well. It runs off of solar power. It got a little windy that night but was still pretty nice location. The owner let us stay on the beach a little longer as well. They seemed very nice.'
