'It is an older hotel, but we didn’t care if it was updated or not. The lady at the front desk was a wealth of information . The views are amazing daylight but evening was spectacular!! Wow!! Definitely spend the money and get the views!!

'This was one of our very best experiences on our 30 day road trip. The staff was impeccable and the grounds were absolutely stunning and beautiful. The pool was too cold to enjoy but nothing can be done about that. It is a beautiful infinity pool with a great view the hot tub was enjoyable even though the jets were not functioning as powerfully as normal, we still enjoyed it. The breakfast was really delicious. Many personal touches like complementary water and chocolates were appreciated.'

We visited Rockport, Camden, Rockland, Lincolnville, Belfast and Union. All easy drives from this location. Be sure to check out Mt. Battie, Breakwater Light and Heron schooner'

Dogs are frequent guests at the inn, so bear that in mind. The manager was responsive and thorough with an issue that arose. I was pleased with the manner in which it was resolved.

There was a coffee maker but no condiments to go with it.
Camden is a charming place to stay and the High Tide Inn is right on the ocean shore, which probably explains the rates. But if Marc wants to make this place work, he needs to do some work on the place. "
