'Exactly what you think of a cabin in the Maine woods. Close to Bucksport. No wifi. Only got one channel on the rabbit ears for the TV, but many movies available to use on the dvd player. Dark outside at night. Quick response from property manager. Would stay there again. '

'Bryan and Rebekah are a wealth of knowledge about the area. They were wonderful to talk to. Cabin 5 is charming and very comfortable. Perfect place to explore the area. We visited Rockport, Camden, Rockland, Lincolnville, Belfast and Union. All easy drives from this location. Be sure to check out Mt. Battie, Breakwater Light and Heron schooner'

'This is a spectacular property overlooking the tidal Benjamin River, seen through the huge windows in the livingroom as well as from a nice outdoor deck, patios and expansive lawn with Adirondack chairs. The beds were super comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, and it was very convenient to get to Deer Isle, Blue Hill and all the other nearby towns. Highly recommended!'

'The place was exactly as advertised. Plenty of space with an amazing view of the ocean from the balcony. We had coffee in the morning overlooking the ocean. While the sound of passing cars do hinder the sound of the ocean, the later in the evening it gets, the more the the relaxing ocean waves come through, which makes for a great night's sleep. They even left an awesome tote bag, which my wife loves. We will definitely be returning.'

'It was a charming cottage in dreamy surroundings! We loved our week in the very comfy cabin with great kitchen, dock with kayaks, beautiful grounds and flowers, and trail into town to see the shipyard, sailboats, and quaint Main Street. It was also great fun to have our dog with us and throw the frisbee on the expansive lawn.'

'We had a short three day stay in Surry and fell in love with the house. It is a bit of the drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park but we didn’t mind it one bit. The convenience of the location and having a small store across the street really made for a stress free stay. Great back deck made for unforgettable conversations and few beverages to help take in all of the beautiful views full of eagles, osprey, ducks, geese and numerous other wildlife. 'Our family really enjoyed their stay at this home while in town for a wedding, and it felt great to have space for everyone! The cousins shared the double bed rooms and parents got the main rooms. Two bathrooms, one being on-suite, was a bit of a challenge when it came time to get ready for bed, get ready in the morning and get ready for a wedding (also, one low quality hair dryer for the entire home and nearly empty soap bottles when we arrived) but having a well stocked kitchen and dining...

"Honestly, we really wanted to give a 5 star review, just because Marc was such a great host. But all in all our experience was a bit disappointing - considering what we paid. We had booked a cottage but it was actually a room in a cottage with several other rooms in it. The room itself did not offer the right value for money. It was clean and the bed was great, but everything else felt and looked tired and worn. The curtains looked like they hadn't been replaced since the 90s. There was no microwave or fridge in the room. There was a coffee maker but no condiments to go with it. Camden is a charming place to stay and the High Tide Inn is right on the ocean shore, which probably explains the rates. But if Marc wants to make this place work, he needs to do some work on the place. "
