Marilyn en ik nodig u uit om onze favoriete plek te bezoeken, onze luxe oceaan huis-away-from-home in George Town Villas. Deze 2 slaapkamers, 2 badkamers appartement is gelegen nabij het zuidelijke einde van Seven Mile Beach. Het biedt een spectaculair uitzicht, de privacy van een derde verdieping eenheid en comfortabele voorzieningen. Een overdekt terras met balkon met uitzicht op de oceaan, George Town Harbor, strand, zwembad en tuinen.

George Town Villas biedt gemak naar George Town, zonder het lawaai of toeristisch verkeer, wordt op weg van de belangrijkste verkeersaders van de toepasselijke naam 'Snooze Lane'. Diverse goede restaurants, waaronder 'The Wharf' zijn binnen een korte wandeling, net als 'Seven Mile Shops'. Een goed gesorteerde supermarkt is gunstig gelegen op ~ 3/4 mijl.

De woning zelf is gebouwd rondom een ​​grote verzorgde tuin met uitgestrekte grasvelden, palmbomen en aanplant. Een goed onderhouden zwembad in de buurt van de oceaan / strand is een favoriete plek voor een middag bezoek tijdens het wachten voor de ongrijpbare 'groene flits' van de ondergaande zon. Voor de meer atletische, zijn er snorkelen en zwemmen bij het strand. Er is een tennisbaan op het terrein.

Grand Cayman is bekend om de helderheid van het water, de prachtige koraalriffen met harde en zachte koralen langs verticale wanden, en een overvloed aan zeeleven. Het is geen wonder dat het is een favoriete bestemming voor zowel nieuwe als ervaren duikers. Duik charters zijn direct beschikbaar en de meeste bieden vervoer vanaf het condominium. Voor degenen die liever vissen, diepzeevissen charters beschikbaar zijn, met volledige en halve dagtochten. En voor de tuinbouw liefhebber, de Queen Elizabeth Botanische Tuin, gelegen in de buurt van het oostelijke uiteinde van het eiland is niet te missen.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Initially, we shared some of the same concerns as others—there’s no big sandy beach right in front, and it’s a 15-30 minute walk to many restaurants. The listing suggests you’ll need a car for the best experience, but we found that wasn’t necessary at all. If you’re traveling on a budget, just walk one block to catch any of the three buses that run along Seven Mile Beach on West Bay Road. For only 2.50, they arrive in less than 10 minutes and operate like taxis, stopping when you hail them, until around 7 p.m.We’ve visited during some of the busiest times of year—Christmas, February winter break, and spring break—and I enjoyed staying here far more than at the Sunrise Suites or the Westin! We always had access to chairs by the pool, umbrellas, and excellent swimming and snorkeling right in front of the property. While the beach is rocky, there’s a ladder that lets you climb straight into fantastic snorkeling waters.My husband especially appreciated not having to wake up at 6 a.m. to reserve chairs, like he did at the Westin. It was peaceful, quiet, and perfect. The pool was never crowded—just a few people daily, and only a few kids. There’s also a fantastic and reasonably priced Irish bar across the street, which was great for watching sports, a steak house and tie place. The location is ideal—close enough to the busier parts of the area to be convenient but far enough away to feel peaceful.

George Town Villas are amazing. It was our second time we stayed there. The condo is pristine, comfy, cozy, and has everything we could possibly need. The view is magnificent, we all enjoyed every second of our vacation. The manager was very friendly, really helpful, and she always replied quickly to any questions we had. A heartfelt gratitude to the nice owners for sharing their beautiful home with us. We plan to return in the not too distant future. Kind regards, Gabriele and family.

We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the cruise ships. Both bedrooms were large with comfortable beds. The kitchen was fully stocked. We liked the 3rd floor location. Learned to take items out of our large suitcase to easily navigate the stairs when arriving and departing. Easy walk to a very nice grocery store. Short walk to sunset cove for swimming. Lots of nice casual restaurants we could walk to. We liked snorkeling at the nearby wreck of the Gamma. Would definitely stay here again.

Friends and I booked this condo for a warm weather get-a-way to relax and enjoy the weather. The condo was in a good location and functional for everything we need. On the third floor (top), quite, great location, walkable to Georgetown, got into the ocean (the day I went snorkeling the waves were too rough), residence were nice/friendly... Just an overall great experience.

Wonderful stay! Thank you so much to our hosts. There was an issue with part of the electric in the kitchen covering an outlet and the dishwasher that was out when we came, but the cleaning crew had already picked up on it before we arrived and the property manager was attempting to contact us next day to see when they could get in to repair it. The condo was just exactly as advertised and even supplied us with toilet paper and dish soap and some soap for the dishwasher. The laundry worked great. The TV was a little tricky but we got it eventually. Plenty of towels. pool was lovely. We had to drive a few min for good beach access I felt comfortable with the kids playing in. It's rocky at the ocean front in front of the condo and more for snorkeling. The waves were also a little rough for a lot of the week too. The last day we were there it was pretty calm and the kids did go into the ocean there then and had a great time. there is also a great public beach on 7 mile beach just a short drive up the road that has a playground and picnic tables with a covered roof for shade, and a food truck or two and that was lovely. We rented a car for the trip, which was easy once we got used to driving on the other side of the road. There's an Irish pub barely more than a 5 min walk from the condo that I thought was excellent and had some good daily deals and the owners give you some restaurant recommendations In their welcome letter. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed in Grand Cayman over Christmas with our 2 girls, ages 11 and 14. The set-up was great with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, easy access to the ocean amazing, and having a pool on-site when water was too rough was awesome. The location was perfect for our "home base."

What a fabulous place to stay! The views are incredible. On calm days you can snorkel right out front. The pool is by far the best pool we have had at a rental condo. Great 7 foot deep end. Condo was safe, clean and had amazing pictures of the many things you see snorkeling. Great location and fabulous owners. I can’t wait to come back!

The condo was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The view was fantastic...very relaxing sitting on the balcony. The location is within walking distance of many restaurants and George Town. The owners and property manager were prompt with communications. Had a very nice time. Good location for exploring the island. Absolutely beautiful view. There is a large building being built next door and construction noise starts at 7am. Otherwise no negatives. I would recommend adding more hooks to hang wet towels etc and a bin of water outside front door for rinsing sandy feet and shoes. For places to eat I’d say our favorites were Tukka west restaurant for the lion fish tacos, Cimboco, and Vivo ( our personal favorite). And Chicken chicken was actually good for fast food. We really enjoyed the sunsets from the condo. 7 mile beach was harder to walk to than we expected. Guess things have changed over the years after storms etc. The snorkeling was good for fish near the apartment, but if you can get out in a boat I’d recommend doing so as it is worth it to see healthier corals

Condo was not ready when we arrived. Website said there is a phone on premise but we couldn't find it. Previous occupant notified the manage. Cleaning lady did a great job. Unfortunately the condo wasn't ready until 8 pm. Excellent location. The grounds and surroundings are gorgeous. Great snorkeling and easy access to grocery stores and restaurants. Unit could use some updating. I would definitely stay again.

My husband and I rented the condo for a dive trip & found it perfect for our needs! The property manager was able to let us in a bit early (thanks to the quick GC customs process- we got in faster than we thought!). Positives:The bed was comfortable, view spectacular! We even saw the “green flash!” Con; AC was on the very slow side. Fine for us, but could be an issue for someone else. If on a dive vacation, check out Pirate Divers. They will pick you up & take you back at no extra charge!

Super location with spectacular views. With some simple updating, this could be a 5 star property. Mattresses, pillows, shower heads & new linens would go a long way. The knives, toaster & blender must have belonged to your parents. 😂 Overall good value …
