'We absolutely loved our stay. The property is immersed in nature, close but far enough from Seward. The cabins are basic but this is really the point. The highlight of our stay was surely the friendliness of Gary (the manager/owner) and even his friends. A true pearl, a true local stay. Kids loved it too! The only place we stayed in Alaska that had its own playground, close to the lake. No small feat!'

The host gave us a tour of all of his custom built cabins that he has on the property and was thoughtful enough to gift us a bottle of champagne for my girlfriend’s birthday. 'Its a nicely built cabin and we had a great time. The host was alao easy to deal with and very accomodating. His dog is very friendly and he did stop by to say hello and play ball which was fun. The cabin is about 10 mins drive from the town but definitely worth it staying there. '

'Well stocked cabin. Host even provided firewood. Real log cabin for that authentic Alaskan experience. Location is 5 min from almost everywhere. Great for a family. Only caution is there are no rooms (if you’re traveling with multiple couples) and the shower is not a traditional shower. It’s very spacious with great views and you can hear the creek running behind the cabin! The host Bruce is amazing and very responsive to any issues that arise. '

'The ocean view was spectacular with teal waters and islands and mountains all around. The cabins are located in a cove, so it is safe for kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards, all available for use. They even provided dry suits for us. The cabin was very comfortable and clean. At night, it was very quiet. The staff were very friendly, going beyond to be helpful. One person even helped my son fish and clean the fish for us. He was so nice. '
