'an interesting stay, a very fancy house turned into an airbnb. we arrived late at night so we quietly slipped off our shoes in the foyer(as requested) and went to our v large rooms. used the lovely huge kitchen in the morning to cook n take our meals n left. saw not a single other soul though we knew other ppl were there. 'This is a great property! Cute and homey with coffee and tea supplied daily. The only thing I would change are the beds. They are a little worn out and are full size. They really need to be queen size to sleep comfortably for two. Management is attentive to your needs and promptly sees to all your needs. I would recommend this property. '

'Such an amazing place. The staff, food, and proximity to wildlife/wilderness are all outstanding. Anyone looking to head off into the last great frontier should have a stay at the Summit Lake Lodge for a night or two. Recommend renting the lakefront cabins, as waking up to a cup of coffee in bed with incredible views helps start any day with a smile. A special thanks to Brandon and Lindsey for making it a very memorable trip for my entire family. '

'Helaas kregen wij een kamer zonder uitzicht op de baai. Dat was wel de hoofdreden dat we deze lodge boekten. De kamer heeft te weinig ruimte om je spullen kwijt te kunnen, er staat 1 stoel en 2 bagagehouders maar er is geen kast of kastje of iets anders te bekennen om je kleding of spullen op kwijt te kunnen. De badkamer was heel erg klein, vooral de doucheruimte. Bovendien was het ontbijt maar tot half 9 en dit was ons bij aankomst niet verteld. Toen wij daardoor het ontbijt gemist hadden was...

'Bear and Berry Lodge was perfect for us! Just minutes from Seward but far enough out of town that you have privacy and it’s quiet. Bed and pillows were so nice and comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor space to sit out and watch for birds and wildlife. The view from bed was beautiful. We definitely recommend this little cabin!'

'Pictures on Expedia showed houses at the beach but ours was inside the country. Yes we could see the sea but only 20%of the window. Rest was roof and trees. We didn't see the owners. There was no personal talk only emails. Looks like owners were hiding. Room was small. In our 4 weeks Alaska this was the most expensive and smallest room. Only Queensize bed. Kingsize would, 't fit. During our 3 night stay there was no housecleaning at all. '
