'History on the doorstep with the rained castle. Complete with moat. Lovely pretty small village. Not an extensive menu. Very tasty and well cooked food. Very attentive service. Seating inside and outside by the stream. We had the basic twin bedded room. Which was as the room suggests basic. Very clean and comfortable bed. '

Rooms very nicely appointed with lovely additional touches (fresh milk in a flask; home baked cookies; tea and coffee with cafetiere). Hindon is a picturesque village with charming cottages and discernable outlines of the many coaching inns once there (of which the Grosvenor Arms is one). Plenty to do in the surrounding countryside. 'Stayed for 1 nt on 20th Aug. Had lovely home cooked Sunday lunch and our room was stunning and stylish. everything was brand new and we had a very comfortable bed which is a must x our breakfast in the morning was amazing, the staff and owner were very welcoming and friendly and even the chef came out for a chat in the evening . The weather was appalling but our stay at the inn made up for it. Thank you so much for a lovely visit We'll definitely be back.'

'Super leuk hotelletje. Er zijn maar 3 kamers, wij verbleven in kamer 2, de blauwe kamer. De kamer was heel sfeervol ingericht, had een heerlijk bed, een badkamer met douche en toilet. Beneden was een pub met restaurant en een overdekt terras met een paar tafeltjes. Het eten was heerlijk, wel jammer dat er geen ontbijt gereserveerd wordt.'

'Friendly staff. Gluten free options. Delicious breakfast. Secure parking ( slightly scary tight turning into it). Cannot find a fault. And real coffee bags in the room which gets 5 stars from me. Lovely market town to wander around '
