Room is simple with matress, small ground table, A/C. Not much soundproof. No elevator & need to use stiff stairs. Host seems living in 1st floor. Use key to open/close room. Place is located on the side of small car road, not inside. Search '清舎' on google map.'

'Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. This was a great place for us to spend our 5 nights in Kyoto as it was close/walking distance from Kyoto station and had more than enough space for our family of four. We were looking for something that had ensuite laundry and a kitchenette so we could prepare our own meals, and this location had both. To make it more convenient, it would have been nice if they had a few more items in the suite like a iron/ironing board, which is usually in hotel...
