Pleins de petites attentions qui vont du katana aux glaces et thé froid offert à la sortie du spa. Très bien placé et le calme d’Arashiyama fait le plus grand bien lorsque vous arrivez de Tokyo'

'Als familie van 4 personen, 2 volwassenen en 2 tieners, hebben wij een prima verblijf gehad. Wij verbleven in een 4 persoonskamer met gedeelde badkamer en toilet. In de gedeelde keuken kun je alles gebruiken. De Ryokan is typisch Japans en een leuke belevenis. Prima service. Prachtige tuin. Restaurant in het hoofdgebouw. Bushalte en supermarkt op loopafstand. Met de bus 20 minuten naar Kyoto Station.'

'On our recent trip to Japan we wanted an authentic experience staying in a ryokan. We were greeted by an extremely attentive staff who whisked our luggage away to our mountain view room. We received hotel slippers and were given a tour of the hotel. Our modest room had a low table and chairs with a tea service, a private bathroom, tatami mat floor and yukata robes. We had 3 hours until dinner so we enjoyed the private onsen nestled in the forest overlooking the forest. For ¥4000 ($27) this...

'De staf verwelkomde ons op een authentieke Japanse stijl en zorgde goed voor ons. Ze spreken goed Engels, en zijn tegelijk nog heel grappig origineel Japans. Het is op slenter afstand van Ginza, de oude binnenstad.'
