'The host is very welcoming and enthusiastic to share places around. This is a traditional Japanese style living on tatami and Japanese futon along with a shared public bath. You will have the best rest sleeping on those futon in this quiet neighborhood. 7-11, Daiso, coin laundry and buses to major attractions are all within 5min of walk. '

'Our stay was very nice calmed and relaxed. The onsen was beautiful and very tidy. Unfortunately our room and designated bathroom had a very particular smell and the toilets smelled like urine :( but it didn’t ruin our stay. The host was very very helpful (a bit rushed at times but understandably as he runs the whole place). The food is delicious! You are served a traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner. The host offered a lift to the station twice, if this is the case for you don’t be late...

'Great little property. Only 4 units. The Sakura unit was HUGE!!! Two spacious bedrooms with two beds in each. The outdoor tub was fantastic! Very unassuming from the outside but a great find. The staff was great.'

'Awesome place to experience a more traditional Japanese house! Tatami mats were really authentic and impressive, with sliding doors and the works! The living room table has a gap under so no need for sitting on knees. Bathroom was very impressive with great shower and massive bath. Toilet in a separate room so perfect for groups. 'My daughter and I stayed here for one night and stayed in the Japanese style room. It was very comfortable and we had the traditional breakfast in the morning. The food was ok it wasn't to my daughters liking, but I enjoyed mine. The only negative I could say is that Expedia did not inform us of the extra $90CAD we had to pay for the Tourist Tax. Apart from that the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is very clean and well maintained.'

'The rooms were magnificent. Along with that the staff here was an absolute delight. Welcoming us when we returned and seeing us out the door just as if we were their children leaving for the day. A wonderful Japanese experience. 10 minute walk to tram station and multiple bus stops that will get you anywhere. 6 minute walk to a shopping street littered with people shops, and food alike. '
