'The beds were comfortable but we needed more blankets! A few times the water in the shower was unstable and would quickly move from very hot to cold and was a little frustrating. The view of the lake and the beautiful trees around were quite pleasant. It was nice to have a bonfire provided nearby and if we had more time we wanted to kayak on the lake with the lone duck. 'This home was clean, well outfitted and comfortable. The decor was great and the beds comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and there were even some snacks for us which we devoured. Check in was smooth and the owner was quick to respond to texts. The location is close to Kenai and we enjoyed a lovely dinner at The Flats after visiting the Kenai Wildlife Refuge Center.'
