'We stayed here with friends for a youth sports tournament. The property was 15-25 minutes away from everything we wanted to go to. This was a great home-base, with plenty of room for everyone! We enjoyed the patio and gazebo in the morning for coffee and cocktails in the afternoon. The kids had plenty of space to spread out and the hot tub was a great addition. '

'I think the hotel has a great view and a lot of access to the whole ocean beach area. Everything is very commutable by foot and there’s a lot of good bars and food options just around the hotel. Truthfully it’s not that far from downtown maybe a 20 minute drive depending on traffic. And the staff was very helpful in finding food options and things to do.'

'Room was clean. Beds were comfy and staff was helpful. HOWEVER, the level of construction going on was intense, and not restful. I am sure it will be great when they are finished, but I question their rates and also the wisdom of their decision to keep the rooms open during what amounts to a complete rebuild of most of their building (at least the one we were in). They were literally tearing up tje tile in our hallway as we were checking out and demoing on tje other side of the wall from us. I...

'Staff inside the hotel is top notch. Attentive, helpful, considerate… really great. $70 nightly parking was very pricey though, and my car got a small dent in the side. Overall I’d recommend it but maybe plan to park in a nearby downtown garage for $30/night.'
