'Staff was great, room was exactly what we needed with our dog, easy access and a back porch to a pet area. I paid a pet fee and feel expedia should not of charged me extra if they did not cover the pet fee. The breakfast was good, water in the bath was hot and the beds were comfy. i would highly recommend them'

'It was our first trip to Boothbay and we couldn't have been more pleased!!! The Shipbuilder's retreat was well appointed in every way! Wide open, well cared for, and comfortable. We enjoyed coffee on the deck and playing games in the evening. It was a convenient trip to the local grocery store, and was very near to all the beauty and joys of the Harbor, light house's, LL Bean (an hour), and hiking. We LOVE it!
