'Clear communication and kind interaction with management. Such a fun place to stay with children who can explore the woods, endlessly and find magic in every nook and cranny. The extra wood available for the fire pit was so great and appreciated. We were unable to find bug repellent that stated would be left, but we didn’t have any issues. Kitchen is a little sparse for needs and maybe some more child friendly size eating where, but all the basics were there and everything was comfortable. Check...

'Overall, the place was very nice and comfortable. Good mattress in primary. Plenty of linens. The views were amazing!! We watched the seals every night. While all the surfaces and floors were clean, the place could use a deep clean (vents, lots of the silverware and cooking stuff were dirty). '

The space was luxurious, the views were stunning, and everything felt thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. One highlight was the exceptionally well stocked kitchen, which made cooking a breeze (not something you find in every rental!). 'If you want a view of the sound that can’t be beat, this is the place for you. 10/10 would stay again!Our stay was excellent. House was pristine/clean condition when we arrived. On the warm side, but plenty of fans and open windows cooled everything off real quick. Bed and pillows made for a wonderful nights sleep as well.'

'We had never been to this area and the house was the perfect home base to use to explore the area. There’s a lot of beaches and state parks to enjoy on the island and we also explored the area’s other features including Port Townsend and wineries/cideries. The house was beautifully maintained and comfortable and we loved being there and on the water. '

'This home was an ideal size for our family of six, with the bunkhouse being a great place for the older kids to hang out. It was fun to see eagles, owls and have daily visits from a mother deer and her three fawns. Although we didn’t see any whales, watching and tracking the multiple shipping vessels was fun and interesting. And to top it off, sitting in the hot tub watching the world go by was very relaxing. I would definitely recommend this vacation home- everything was perfect.'

'The property was very nice. There is a wood stove which was very nice and the beds were great. The downstairs bath tub did not work. No flexibility with check in or check out times at all. I felt the background check was violating my privacy and not sure i trust them with a picture they can use to open my apps '

'We loved our stay so much we added an extra night! The home was so warm and inviting, well stocked with endless games, movies, and books, and incredibly comfortable beds! Katie was quick to respond to our request to extend our stay and to help us find a lost item! We can’t wait to return!'

'My spouse, son & I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the neighborhood, and the house had everything we needed to fix simple meals and enjoy cozy evenings. I suggest that before coming to Whidbey Island that you review ferry schedules! You may be able to reserve passage, but must do so well in advance in summer, etc. Overall, a delightful experience for us all!'

"Ruime kaner, badkamer verouderd en klein, lamp in badkamer maakt erg veel lawaai in combinatie met airco. Kan he niet afzonderlijk aanzetten . Wij gebruikten daarom verlichting van de heater in de badkamer. Handdoeken rek zit op onlogische plek stoot je steeds tegenaan. Bed staat op wieltjes dus bij beweging gaat hij verplaatsen. Kamer ruikt overdreven naar schoonmaak middel Onder bedden wordt niet schoongemaakt Hotel doet Nederlands voorkomen met naam Holland Inn en molens en tulpen maar niemand spreekt of kent Nederland. Ligt aan een drukke doorgaande weg, nachts geen last van ochtends hoor je wel veel verkeer. Ontbijt is basic maar goed verzorgd "
