'The complimentary muffins were absolutely delicious! The room was stylish, clean, and very comfortable. The host was kind enough to inform us early that we could check in ahead of time, which was super helpful. They also contacted me right away when I accidentally left my glasses behind. The only minor downside was that the Wi-Fi was a bit slow, but overall it was a great stay.'

'We absolutely loved our stay. The property is immersed in nature, close but far enough from Seward. The cabins are basic but this is really the point. The highlight of our stay was surely the friendliness of Gary (the manager/owner) and even his friends. A true pearl, a true local stay. Kids loved it too! The only place we stayed in Alaska that had its own playground, close to the lake. No small feat!'

'We arrived late, so the office was closed, but it was still easy to find our cabin and navigate the property. We opened our window and fell asleep to the sounds from the creek behind our cabin. In the morning, we watched the ducks in the pond while we drank our coffee on the deck. The bathrooms and washrooms were spacious and clean. I wish we could have stayed longer. 'The solarium and hot tub was a good distance away and was just a green house. I may have misunderstood when booking,but they made it seem like it was a part of the cabin.( the entire reason I spent $400 for one night) it was hard lugging my luggage to the cabin do to the railroad tie stairs being so far apart. Inside the cabin all the stairs are very steep and at odd angles. The bathroom was EXTREMELY small. The views from inside and out are amazing. You feel like you are much farther from the...
