'Just needed a good night sleep while traveling. Staff, room, overall cleanliness was just what we needed. Thank you!'

'The staff was friendly, but the hotel, rooms, and grounds needed upkeep and updates. I did not get the included breakfast. I did have a dog with me and had a room on the ground floor that I assume was regularly used for those with dogs. The chair cushion was visibly stained, the grout in the shower needed to be cleaned/replaced. The hotel is in a quiet area, but convenient to Hwy 35. I would not stay again, unless it’s remodeled/revived. '

'Very disappointed in the Lord Essex restaurant. Normally very good but had Shrimp Scampi that was cold, shrimp not cooked and smelled funny. I will go back, the closeness to Mayo is remarkable, but may skip Lord Essex.'

'Lovely historic hotel with modern amenities in the heart of a small town on the river front. Once checked in I could have all of my needs met by foot! A nice brewery, restaurants and the river front all within a mile. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever enjoyed in a hotel. Hours are spotty, but I did get to enjoy both the basement Speakeasy as well as the dining room for breakfast. Wonderful stay overall.'

'Realized how dirty floor was when i dropped earring. Popcorn in corners of floor. I took pictures. Way toooo expensive for quality of room. Small, old, needs, updating badly. Would not recommend this room to anyone. So overpriced for quality of room. '
