Strandhotels in Southeast Minnesota

'Vlak na de afslag rijksweg. Stad is niet groot trouwens maar wel leuk. Motel is prima voor een stop. Personeel is vriendelijk. Grappig dat ze verse koekjes bakken ‘s middags, waren lekker!'

'Rooms were large, bed was very comfortable, breakfast was normal hotel quality and opened early. Plenty of parking, even with a boat. The hotel was completely full do to a kids baseball tournament. The room we were assigned was next to pool so sleep was optional. The only down side.'

'Checked in at 10pm had to call the 3 times to get someone to the front desk. Pool was closed, which we wanted for summer time. Kitchen was closed for breakfast the next morning, which we expected. Internet and TV were not working. '

'Hotel was reasonable for the price. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. As others have mentioned, the hot tub is out of action but the indoor pool is open. The breakfast left a bit to be desired, weakest coffee I've ever had and the staff were not attentive to the need to restock food as it ran out.'

'Pluses: Check in process was quick & easy. The breakfast was excellent. Conveniently located right off the interstate. Deltas: We stayed in a suite with a foldout couch. There was no bedding in the room to be found. My wife went down to the desk to get bedding, but they didn't give her a pillow. Another trip down when the bedding should have been in the room already. It's the only reason we booked this room & it became a headache for us.'

'breakfast was great. the coffee was good. and the French toast with fresh strawberries was great, bed was comfortable and then room was good. however touch up the paint in the bathroom on the bottom of the door and you would have full 5 stars from me. thanks for a great stay.'

'I found the hotel conveniently located - not too far from the highway 52, relatively close to shopping malls and food retailers. My room was spacious, clean, and had all I needed, that is a comfy bed, refrigerator, microwave, tv, and an iron with the stand. You could get coffee, hot water, fruits (apple and/or banana) and two bottles of water at the check in. I recommend this hotel for budget travellers looking for comfortable, short term accommodation.'
