'We stayed two nights for a quick get away to Hocling Hills to ATV and kayak. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. Great location with many places around. We needed more towels which they were accommodating and the rooms were very clean. It was so quiet and the beds comfortable. The only thing we experienced was towels that smelled old but we asked for new and they replaced them immediately. Staff was very nice and bathrooms clean. We will be back. Thanks for a great stay!!!'

'We stayed there for the Downtown Throw down in Parkersburg and this Hotel was a Little more expensive than the others but This Hotel was well Worth the Little extra in my opinion, From the Friendliness of the Staff including the house keeping workers, would greet You in the Hallways with a Hello & Smile, so rare these days.. The beds were Oh so Comfortable & Very Clean & smelled fresh,No stagnant stale air in these rooms! the Breakfast was so Good! and the Breakfast Area room was so inviting for...

'Don't be fooled by the early '90s decor, this is a lovely hotel where you're greeted with a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie after a long journey, making you feel instantly welcome. The personal touch at DoubleTree is truly charming. While the room feels a bit outdated and the air conditioning/heating makes some odd noises that might keep you up at night, overall, it was a pleasant stay.'
