'We stayed here for the nostalgia, it’s been 25 years since we came to the Thunderbird and it didn’t disappoint! I’m pretty sure the pool was closed then too - but we weren’t there to swim and it’s not advertised as having a pool. We just enjoyed the humor of it all. The room was clean and the guy who checked us in was friendly. If you’re looking for luxury, then pay quadruple the price and stay elsewhere! 'What a lovely place. Room was clean and beds were good. Bonus fir ne was the garden behind my room. Make your breakfast and eat it in the sun by the river. Loved it! It is on a buzy road and trains come by. It did not bother me. It is close (by car) to the thermal baths and restaurants in the small town. Would come again.'
