I booked it because we were getting in too late to drive and it was both close to the airport and reasonably priced, but I kind of wished I'd stayed there longer. 'I had a car during this trip and it's my assumption that's pretty standard for people traveling to Tazmania so I don't know how the locatoin would be if you were relying on public transport, but it was pretty great otherwise. There was a really nice walk to the Woolworths and it seemed a short drive to the river front (unfortunately didn't have a chance to find out).
