'Traveling across the country and after a stop in Mt Airy we usually stay in a hotel there. This house was sooooo much better and worth the extra few minutes drive. The house looks like it’s been completely renovated, on a quiet street of small farms, we had cows and all kinds of birds in the fields behind the house. We took a long walk around the area, a oerfect quiet area to stretch out after a long drive. Minutes from a small town with lots of good dinner choices. Very comfortable family room...

'Everything from beginning to end was perfect. Everyone in my family loved the views from the main living area/deck. We also enjoyed the separate air units upstairs for those of us that like it cooler than others. '

'GREAT PLACE TO STAY BUT DID HAVE SOME FLAWS. JUST ON A REAL WINDY ROAD TO GET THERE. FRONT SCREEN DOOR HARD TO CLOSE AND LAUNDRY ROOM DOOR ROLLERS REAL SQUEEKY. THE FRYING PANS WERE NOT GOOD. NEED SOME TEFLON PANS. BUT OTHER THANK THAT ALL WAS GOOD.'

'This was such a fantastic stay! We came down from Washington DC suburbs for a long weekend visiting Grayson Highlands State Park. The cabin is an easy 15 minute drive from the park, which gave us such great flexibility because we could wake up early, go to the park and hike for a few hours, come back “home” and reset, and then go back out again for more hiking.The hosts thought of every detail, great and small. 'Had a small issue with the master bedroom, however the host was quick to offer solutions. Everything else was great…huge yard with dog disposal, inside had pretty much everything you need and other reviewers all commented on it. Super close to the Triple Crown hikes. If I had to nitpick? More blinds or curtains for increased privacy. Otherwise, really great property and host!'
