Sweet and quiet spot close to downtown!!
Awesome little cabin house, quiet and clean, amazing kitchen amenities. The host was attentive and welcoming. My friends had a great time visiting and staying here, especially when a flock of wild turkeys dropped by!! So cool!

Peaceful and private
This property is peaceful and private. The layout is well planned and cozy. The personal touches: a chew treat for our dog, cozy blankets, upscale soaps, Keurig and coffee. Wine and beer in the fridge available if you wish to purchase. It was the perfect place for us while visiting Spokane. Note: The property is not fully fenced so keep your dog accordingly.

Comfortable bed, uncomfortable bathroom, cold
Got there around 7:30 pm. Took 3 hrs to warm up enough we could take off coats. Floor & bathroom were extremely cold all weekend. Wore shoes but our feet were very cold. Bathroom, shower, & water heater were uncomfortably small. Drop something in the shower, you'll bump your head on the wall when you bend over to pick it up. If you move while standing at the bathroom sink your legs will bump the toilet. Got an email Saturday asking if we'd like to pay $25 for a late checkout Sunday. Decided that sounded nice so asked how late we could stay. Were informed that late checkout wasn't available after all, so we were stuck in Spokane with nowhere to go for a couple of hours. The bed was comfortable, the place was cute, and the owners were friendly, we just didn't enjoy our stay as much as we'd hoped.

Revenge review warning. We have a built wall heater and a split unit that keeps this cabin toasty even in minus degree weather. The hot water tank is large enough for 4 people and back-to-back showers and last-minute late checkouts are discouraged. We need time to arrange with our cleaner.

Great communication and support!
Our party consisted of my hubby, our lovely pet, and myself. We cannot review the stay or cleanliness because unfortunately a local snow storm fell upon us during our drive to this lovely cabin, and we were forced to return home. We were disappointed however very grateful too return home safe and, for having such wonderful and understanding Host’s. John & Hallie have been absolutely understanding, caring, and responsive communicators from the onset of reserving their rental, throughout our forced cancelation, and even offered and provided the return of our cleaning deposit; which was very unexpected and a warm and comforting surprise after everything we’d been through with this snow storm ordeal. We highly recommend John & Hallie as Hosts and we look forward too actually staying and enjoying their beautiful cabin after Winter thaws. We are familiar with the city of Spokane and know it is rare to find a fair priced cabin in a woodsy environment that’s centralized/near many of Spokane’s offerings and activities. We will definitely reserve their lovely cabin again. Thank you for everything John&Hallie, you are very much appreciated!

Wonderful in-city Oasis
Clean, quiet, private, dog friendly, good location. I am a stickler for cleanliness and oftentimes even if a review is written that it's clean, I find that it's really not. This place it was definitely on the higher end of cleanliness. Nice and quiet, and private, wich we value when traveling with our dogs. Perfect location to easily get to and from local attractions. I will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful cabin!
Rented the property for a weekend wedding. The cabin is small but very clean and very comfortable. My husband, dog, and I all loved it. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Beautiful yard and surroundings. Definitely recommend.

Nice stay.
Cute set up. Cabin tucked in corner of property made it feel like I was staying in the country. I was given privacy. I felt safe and was able to shut the gate behind my vehicle. My daughter and grandkids stopped in and played on jungle gym. Also had a big green yard. Thank you for the stay, John :)

Worth every bit
This sweet tiny house is everything we hoped for and more than we imagined. The details were all well thought out. We never wanted for anything more. It was a joy too to be able to comfortably host a couple of local cousins for dinner and have their littles be happily occupied by the swing/play and yard space.

Basecamp YES
This property was just right for us and our little dog. It is utterly quiet, peaceful and SO clean . We slept deep each night. Basecamp is located so close to all the beautiful parks and falls in Spokane. Close to restaurants and lots of great shops. John and Hallie are wonderful with quick responses to any questions. I would stay here again and again.

Possibly the cleanest VRBO I’ve ever stayed in
This little place is adorable and impeccably clean. It’s on a large private lot in the middle of a quiet neighborhood so you’ll almost feel like you’re away from it all while still being only 10 minutes from downtown Spokane. Also, I’m a bit of a “princess and the pea” and I slept like a baby in the comfortable bed.

Lovely cabin stay
We came up for Christmas with family in Spokane and wanted our own little private getaway. The cabin was perfect! Super clean, very private, very quiet. The hosts were super friendly and responsive to all questions. Will definitely stay here again in the future!!

Cozy home close to everywhere!
Cute tiny home. Can't describe how fabulous this home is. We and our dog enjoyed the huge yard immensely. The ability to throw the ball for our dog on the property and not disturb the neighbors was perfect. Off-street gated parking was nice. The newer home had all of the necessities. I liked that it had an extra electric coffee pot to heat water, in addition to the Keurig. That way my tea didn't taste like coffee :) We will definitely recommend this to others and use this home again. We liked it so much we stayed an extra day! And we've already recommended it to our friends who will be traveling to Spokane.

Urban Hygge Cabin in Treed
Base Camp tiny home is the perfect little spot to rest your head rafter exploring local foodie joints, coffee spots and even nearby Idaho! Superior bonuses? A car gate with dedicated driveway to the front door, large fenced yard for our fur kids (dogs) and goodies in the kitchen at the snap of a finger with a simple QR code to purchase if you are just too cozy to venture out! The finishes in this pint-sized pad are adorable and high quality. You feel as though you are in a danish retreat amongst tall trees with the feel of the clean, knotty pine paneling and simple kitchen decked with the necessities. BTW, bed linens were AMAZING! And the soaps!!? Delightfully high quality! We VRBO frequently and always leave a word to enhance the stay for ourselves and others inn the future ~ It would be great to have a set of dedicated dog bowls in case you forget your own, a clearly marked dog refuse bin aside house/garage and a dimmer switch for bright main area lamps to make living room more of a relaxing atmosphere. We will stay again! Hygge cozy, close to town and PERFECTLY priced! Thank you John & Hallie for hosting!

Quaint Cabin in the Middle of Spokane
This little cabin has everything you need to enjoy a peaceful getaway nestled near the city of Spokane. It's close to shopping, restaurants and all the outdoor activities that draw people to visit the area, yet it's on a large back lot that feels like home. The cabin is like a tiny home, but spacious enough to accommodate a small kitchen, full bath, bedroom and living/dining area. It's certainly comfortable for 2 adults and small children. While I didn't bring children on this trip, the property also includes a large playground and outdoor seating to enjoy a cup of coffee, wine or to enjoy the sound of the trees and surrounding wildlife. The hosts communicate well and truly care if you are enjoying your stay. I won't ever stay anywhere else when I visit Spokane!

Comfortable and quiet
We were pretty tired by the time we got to the cabin and it was so welcoming. The dog loved the grounds and he always have to get up in the night to go bathroom and it was so nice how the porch light would automatically turn on so we could see. Just little things like that make it a cozy stay. I would stay again.

Great getaway
We needed a getaway spot in order to visit friends and family. The “base camp” description is perfect because that’s what it is. A perfect little cabin to hang out at a reasonable price. The owner went out of their way to make sure the stay was perfect. Will definitely be back!

Cabin in the city
The cabin is very nice, clean. Kitchen is nicely equipped with a small frig, microwave, toaster oven, all utensils. The living room is large enough for 4 to watch TV. It could hold 2 kids on the sofa sleeper. The bedroom is a little tight along the sides, making it a little difficult for older people. The shower is a standup with a circular glass enclosure and a shower head with a flexible cord which you can remove and wash with. A tight squeeze for larger people. Your vehicle is safe behind the gate you open and close to access the property. Nice yard and setting, quiet at night. We enjoyed our stay.

Renting here was lovely. The space is clean and quaint, with rustic finishes. We had everything we needed. There was a separate driveway, our own little cabin, and even lawn furniture out front. The sunset was lovely, and I could hear quail in the evening. John was communicative and the stay was just what we needed.

A Great Find
Two of us and our dog in 400 sq ft for 2 1/2 months? You’d think it would be impossible, but it definitely was just the opposite. It was a perfect place to stay while our new house was being built. The interior is well-designed and very clean, and we enjoyed sitting outside looking at the beautiful grounds—an amazing expanse of green grass, tall trees and beautiful flowers. Our dog was in heaven. We feel very fortunate to have found this spot of paradise.

This tiny home is a delight and the hosts thought of everything that could make the stay comfortable! The fold-out sofa made a VERY comfortable bed (not your typical hide a bed) and it was super-clean. A classy little place, not appropriate for "large living" folks but it's definitely at the top of my list for VRBO experiences. I most appreciated the ability to park inside a fenced gate.

AMAZING!! It’s clean and spotless! They provided everything we needed and were available at all times to answer our questions very quickly. It is perfectly sized for two people or a family with kids The bed is heavenly and bathroom and shower were excellent. I honestly think this is a bargain. I stayed at this place coming and going on my trip for an overnight. It is tiny house - yet amazingly comfortable. The owner has wine and beer available for a small fee (easy to pay) which was quite nice so I didn't have to leave again. They allow pets - which I appreciate - and there is a nice yard to exercise them in.

Traveling to the west coast wanted an overnight location that - allowed pets -had yard space for the dogs -not too far off the interstate -clean and safe This property fit the bill. Owners were super responsive. Staying there again on the way home. Would recommend!

Tiny living
This place is just as advertised. It was very nice to be able to open the gate and drive inside. It made for a very secure feeling. The house was super clean and very well laid out. Small but super functional. If you want to experience tiny house living this is the place. We will absolutely stay again.

Your paid reservation was for three adults but six adults stayed the night. The house only sleeps four. Upon checkout, we recorded the number of your party as a protection in case of property damage. Google Maps leads you right to the front entrance and parking.
