'Wow! This is Newmarket, right? We stayed there for Valentine's. Welcoming from the second we entered the lobby. Professional, friendly staff and a lobby bar that felt like we were transported back to the 50s. Exceptional service at every interaction. Even the guy mopping the floor greeted me and warned of the wet floor. Our room was wonderfully appointed. We had breakfast at the Overlea. A nice view overlooking downtown Newmarket. And great food. 'The property is a sub basement of a house. The entrance is through the garage and it’s tiny. Difficult to get thru the doors to the basement. The place is minimally furnished. It is located at the far north end of Richmond Hill away from commercial activities. I would not rent this place again. Owner is quick to respond to requests. '
