'Central location, near dining, shopping- enjoyed the quiet stay with front door parking- responsive kind staff'

'We loved our stay at Marriott timber lodge. Check in was smooth and easy. The pool was heated as well as the 4 hot tubs (although only two were open during our stay) but it was a wonderful winter surprise to have a huge heated pool. Room was average but cozy. Having a microwave, toaster, and mini fridge/freezer was a plus. Location is top notch and convenient. Would definitely recommend.'

'Was clean and worth the price'

'The property offered convenient access and an excellent location. Staff members were notably welcoming, and both check-in and check-out proceeded smoothly. I would stay again. Rated 5 stars.'

'Host was very helpful, hotel was clean, cozy & quiet '

'Clean and close to village'

'Great property, staff was extremely friendly. Will be back!'

'Location in South Lake Tahoe is great. Lobby, pools and gym are very good. No disrespect to the host… the rooms are tired and need a big refresh.'

'I made a reservation through Expedia/VRBO, and the host canceled less than 24 hours before check-in without providing any explanation. When I contacted Expedia, they were not aware that the reservation had been canceled. I then contacted VRBO, where the listing was posted. VRBO was unable to reach the host to determine the reason for the cancellation and could only confirm that the reservation had been active and fully confirmed in their system. As a result, I had to spend valuable time working...

'Clean room, shops nearby'

'Traveling with a service dog, the front desk made me sign a pet form then I was charged a pet fee on my card which I noticed when I got home. When I called the site the did agree to reimburse me, which I have received . Hallways were pretty dirty, room was ok but not spotless. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Needs updating. Great location though. Walk to restaurants, shopping and casinos. Would try again if I return'

'The door card only worked in one door of the three rooms, two of the three bathrooms were dirty with nail clippings and public hair in bath tub, there is no service by the pool so you have to go find food and drinks to bring in by oool, there also is no food in premises so that’s super inconvenient, the resort feel/ vibe is NOT here at all. We were in floor theee, every time we get off the elevator it smelt like absolute rock trash throughout the hallways. It was absolutely disgusting. I said...

'Clean, room for my family, and great location. Walking distance to everything. Beach ia only 5 minute walk. Only thing it is their biggest unit and wasn't ready for early check in. I think 4 is very late check in. Stove had some issues otherwise we had a great stay. Will go back.'

'Highly recommend! Great location! Cute place with a microwave and small fridge! The bed is also very comfy!!! '
