'This is a dive. Looks like an old motel that was bought and allowed to fall into disrepair. Terrible location, only accessible through a gas station parking lot, street folks in front of lobby with a fighting breed dog, room was about 8( degrees during a Heat Warning spell, chipped paint, filthy bathroom. We left within minutes, did not feel safe to sit down, or bring our belongings in. Right next to highway with loud trucks going by. Reached out to Expedia and VRBO and after dozens of chats,...

'When the price is too good to be true, you're not going to end up where you think you will. Hotel was run down and the room smelled, floor was dirty and the walls and floors were covered in damage. Pros were that the AC blew cold and water was hot. That's about it. Never again.'

'We loved our time at the Myers Beach House #C (Green Door)! There was plenty of space for my family of four plus my mom. We did a little bit of cooking and the kitchen was great for that. We played cards and games at the table, which was fantastic. We also walked the neighborhood and the location is perfect - close to the beach, close to the train, close to coffee, a market and other food places. Truly awesome! We are already talking about coming back!'

'We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The owner Carol was very helpful and responsive if we had questions or needed anything. It is a very short walk to the ocean which was amazing! Really just a lookout point though. About 1 mile if you want to go to a sandy, usable beach. Train noise is not super noticeable despite how close it is to the tracks. Convenient location with easy access to/from the freeway.'

'Stayed here for a month in July. Without an AC, it was a bit hot during the day (would suggest a small/portable AC). Other than that, had everything I needed. Nice and close to the beach. Great area for walking around!'
