The rooms were fabulous, the pool gorgeous in fact everything was great.
The only thing that spoiled my stay was the breakfast. The breakfast menu was extensive, but only for cooked breakfast. I don't eat cooked breakfast. I asked for cereal and toast. I was given a small box of corn flakes (no choice) 2 slices of toast and a mini jar of marmalade for us both. My partner had a cooked breakfast and therefore no cereal. 'This property is excellent fresh modern reasonable and a brilliant view . It’s close enough to everything but you feel like you are the better side of Scarborough. Local dining at the Hideout Bar excellent food and breakfast just a 5 min walk away . Good for the open air theatre cricket club and peasholme park . Thankyou all the effort is appreciated bin off the tacky hotels take your family somewhere nice '

'We stayed here for a couple of nights for a long weekend exploring the Yorkshire Wolds. The location is great, being close to a few larger towns like Driffield and Pocklington, but also close to some amazing walking including a stretch of the Yorkshire Wolds Way. The room was really lovely, the staff friendly, and the food and beer fantastic. We will definitely stay again when we're next out this way! '

Enige puntje van kritiek op de hygiëne was dat er veel kalkaanslag aan de douchekop zat, waardoor de straal niet heel goed was. Verder was alles goed schoon.'

'Had a fantastic experience at Orchard Lodge. Andrew and Lucinda couldn’t be any more accommodating. Fantastic service, lovely location and spacious bedrooms.

'Lovely place, beautiful food and a really nice room and ambience. But what really made this place was the wonderful warm staff.
The lady on arrival was really welcoming, the girl looking after us for food was very attentive and the gentleman who welcomed us at breakfast was delightful.

'We stayed with our young son for 3 nights in July 2024. The staff were absolutely lovely, so welcoming and helpful with everything we needed and great with interacting with our young son. The food - breakfast and dinner - is truly incredible with nothing too much trouble. The only downside we experienced really was that we were in a room on the top floor which, while the room had clearly been hoovered etc, it was dusty in places with lots of cobwebs - while we don't mind spiders, we removed...
