'We stayed here over Fourth of July weekend and we all had so much fun! Watching the fireworks over the lake was absolutely magical. The house is cozy, cute, and comfortable. The covered porch cannot be beat and the dock made swimming a blast! We roasted marshmallows in the outdoor fireplace and cooked most of our meals in the indoor kitchen, which had everything we needed. Try McClard’s BBQ and DeLuca’s Pizza while you’re in town!'

'Property was clean, even better than the photos, dock was wonderful to swim off of and they had a ton of stuff for the kids to use down there. The house was big enough for our family and small enough that we weren’t all just in different areas all the time. Great property and great hosts!'

'We loved every minute of our time at Whispering Pines and in Mt. Ida. We were able to disconnect and enjoyed much needed family time. We loved the hammocks, fire pit, creek and the hiking near the cabin. We didn’t do everything g we wanted and everyone was ok with that! The cabin was so cute and clean and the kids loved having for life upstairs to sleep in. '

'Perfect little getaway spot! Nice and quiet for relaxing outside. The neighbors are extremely close but very friendly. There are very high privacy fences on both sides. Bed was comfortable but sofa bed not so much. The shower is for shorter people, we are both over 5’7 and had to squat down to wash our hair. We also couldn’t set the thermostat below 70 degrees, so we had 3 box fans going 24/7, there are no ceiling fans to keep the air moving. Other than those few complaints, everything else was...

'My wife and I went to float the caddo for a birthday trip. This cabin is great for a romantic getaway. There are 3 cabins right on the water with grills off to the side. Very peaceful and relaxing. The host replied very quickly with any issues or questions I had. 10/10 would stay again! '

'We had a great stay! The house was well equipped and clean. The location is wonderful; private and quiet. We loved the creek and spent most of our time swimming and exploring. We also went crystal mining which was a very close 20 minute drive. Tons of fun and hope to come back!'

'We came to Arkansas for a mother daughter trip and we had the best time. We came to canoe but the water level was to high to safely float especially with children. Marc told us about a hiking trail called little missouri falls and it was well worth the 40 min drive. We hiked and we got to swim at the waterfall. We loved it, you will need a truck or suv to manage the terrain into the trail. We also spent time in hot springs which is about a 45 min drive. '
