'Loved the location of this house - quick drives to Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Mackinac. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Access to the beach was a 2 minute walk, and was worth every step up and down the driveway…we had the entire beach to ourselves and it was beautiful! Also loved all of the extras that were already there and we didn’t have to pack - beach chairs, wagon for towing to the beach, fans, etc. '

'We had great communication with the host. My granddaughter left a toy their and the mailed it back to us. Great customer service! The beds were comfortable and the space was wonderful for catching up with family. We had a fire outside and roasted marshmallows. We will definitely go back! '

'We all (wife and two friends) had a great stay at the Mackinaw House. Rooms and living areas were all clean and well supplied. Especially enjoyed the privacy of our little stretch of the Lake Huron shore for cookouts and stargazing. Would gladly return or recommend the house to any future guests.'

'It was a cute house. Needed ALOT of TLC. When we arrived it took over an HOUR to get in and we artived and hour AFTER check in time. Even when we connected with some SHE could not use KEY FREE ENTRY SHE COULD NIT GET IN. We ended up usining her KEY. The cottage was NOT dusted. The bedroom to right of living room smelled mUSTY. 'The thing I always notice first in a rental property is the level of cleanliness, and I was immediately impressed! It is obviously something the owners value, as every area of the property was immaculate. It was also very well-maintained, attractive, and nicely landscaped. The kitchen was well-appointed and well-stocked. Plenty of clean towels and linens for the entire week, and a very efficient washer and dryer for our laundry. 'Great place to stay in the U.P. About 20ish minutes from st ignace which was nice because we spent a day on Mackinac Island. Very peaceful and relaxing area. My kids loved the paddle boat. Plenty of space for our family of 4. We would definitely stay here again. '
