'We had a room on the 8th floor which was spacious and clean. We did have some airco noise and weird knocking noise from the elevator shaft (we think) which was annoying at night. Pool was nice and location was good for watersports and running. Restaurant has great staff but menu is limited. The gym was crowded in the morning but really quiet in afternoon.'

'First of all the check in took a long time. I had to wait for 2 hours for the room to be ready. Second, I m a clean freak and I saw one of the things they mentioned is everyday room service. However, the people who cleaned the room did not change the bed cover or sheets they just replaced towels nothing else. I was so disappointed. I booked a king beach front with fireplace and every time I take my dog to beach and come back the room gets messy and I had to stay in the mess for 5 days. I will...

'This is my go-to hotel in La Jolla. It feels like home away from home. Beautiful views, clean and quiet rooms, delicious food, easy parking deck and friendly staff. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Always happy to be back.'

'The AC was not functioning and no one was notified after booking to give people an opportunity to rebook somewhere else. My room was then switched to a room with a portable AC unit that was duck taped to the window and kept falling off. The window had to be opened the entire time which let in a bunch of noise. However it was clean and the balcony and courtyard was well maintained. The food in the restaurant wasn’t the best either but it was quick for a small kitchen.'
