'The hosts are extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Bill extensively explained to me what to see in Stratford, while I enjoyed some excellent home made fruitcake. The room is equipped with kettle, lots of tea bags, instant coffee, instant hot chocolate, and biscuits. Breakfast is fabulous with prizewinning home made jams. All together amazing value for £55 single occupancy. Only downside is the slightly long walk to the town centre.'

'We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of August. Easy parking & very well signposted. We were shown to our spacious room by Alan. Lovely room, lovely view, lovely bathroom. Electric shower over the bath, which was plenty powerful & a choice of toiletries. We could choose what breakfast we wanted & there was also fruit, yoghurt & cereal which is eaten in a nice breakfast room. The hosts were very friendly & attentive. I would definitely recommend & return. '

'Pros: 5 minute walk to important locations, like the RSC Theatre, Shakespeare's Birthplace and Henley Street. Many good food spots in 5 minute walking distance. 15 minute walk to Stratford-upon-Avon railway station. Comfortable beds, nice staff, easy to find. Cons: Low water pressure on 2nd floor, no wardrobe'

'Beautiful hotel! Very comfortable bed and bedding. Room and bathroom absolutely lovely decor and clean. Lots of places in the hotel to sit and enjoy. So close to the town and tourist spots. If I had to say one negative our room was a little small - stepping around our bags all the time. '

'Zeer goed middelgroot country hotel. Hotel is zeer oud wat je kan merken aan de golvende vloeren. Hotel is mooi gerenoveerd. Hou er wel rekening mee dat het op een zeer drukke kruising ligt. Wel dubbele ramen. Ontbijt is zeer goed. Vooral als je een Engels ontbijt wil is er heel veel keus. In de bar kan je bijna de hele dag eten bestellen. Zeer ruime keus. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk. Zoek je een hotel in een rustiger plaats, kijk dan eens in Broadway. Rustig en zeer mooie plaats.'

'From our arrival to our departure we were made to feel very welcome, we had a lovely night's stay here. The staff were really friendly and helpful and greeted us warmly. The food was exceptional, we had an evening meal and breakfast with timely service and attention to detail. We thought the whole experience of our stay was great and nothing was too much trouble. There was a Farmers Market on in the grounds when we were leaving which seemed to be going well and I'd imagine would bring in more...
